Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Sorry for sounding ignorant, but is really a problem Karasawa leaving the show?
Super needs as many staff members as it can get, losing one is always bad, Karasawa in particular is a great supervisor.
His work is like light-Yammamuro. But, the shading is better, his animation is actually better than most of the staff here. Like the catalog said, he has an impressive rèsume or whatever it is called. It's really good to be honest.
I'm bad at English and still learning. If there's anything wrong, please correct me.
If Karasawa is gone , which I highly doubt, it's going to be a huge loss. Imo the supervisors go like this : Manabe> Tate = Karasawa > Shimanuki> everyone else.

Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!
I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
A little sad that Tai'ichirou Ohara hasn't been doing anything noteable on the episodes his been working on. Really loved a lot his stuff back in Z. I know it's a little bit of an unpopular opinion, but I think he was definitely one of the best key animators on the show.
One of my favourite moments he did was this scene from episode 85 or 84, I get them confused.

Really love the timing of it, not sure if I would say it's Booru worthy though.(though I do slightly prefer it over his work on #190 that did get on the Booru)

I'd say that's Booru worthy, I've seen less impressive work on there. The angles, timing and art are all great.

It belongs there for sure, but it would need a new encode. The encoding in JazzMazz's post is bad and will disqualify it.

Sorry, that wasn't meant to be a direct knock at you. I've just noticed a trend of certain people (usually lurkers, actually) taking things from this thread and trying to upload them when they're not good enough or don't meet the minimum requirements. Figured I'd get in there early and stop it happening.
Anybody knows who made the first shot of the NEP? Is that Itai? Or is it a correction?
Also, Zenos' eyes are weird, in one shot one of their eyes is looking at the battle and the other is looking at the sky.

Nope, doesn't look like him. There are a few non-Itai shots in that NEP that look familiar to me, but I just can't place them. They've been bugging me ever since I first saw them.
I said to a few friends that I'm probably going to kick myself when I see the staff list.

those zeno eyes shot are normal i think you mistook his ears

Posts should generally have some substance to them or spur the conversation on. Your last message read more like a tweet than a forum post. What you've posted above is absolutely fine, though!

I was talking about the shot where both Zeno are with the guardians and daishinkan.
I'm glad that whenever they go SSJ while fighting they have their auras on, unlike before that for some reason they remove it, I really hope they continue with that, makes the fight a lot more awesome with auras on.
Episode 82:
Scenario: Yoshitaka Toshio
Storyboard: Kazuhiro Ochi
Director: Ayumi Ono
Animation supervisors: Hiroyuki Itai & Hirotaka Nii (promoted to animation supervisor, was key animator for the series)
Not much of an excitement in terms of the staff listing, but #84 and #85 should be a treat due to King Ryu and Atsuhiro Tomioka. It's nice to see two of the best writers are still sticking with Dragon Ball Super.
In addition to the episode written by Ryu, Yashima will most likely solo the episode. Will be interesting to see how both mash each other.
