Or they expect the server load from the west to be bigger than Japan and because this is an online focused game they want to make double sure it works at launch.

I'm currently looking at the Microsoft xbox for pc controllers (laptop is windows).

I've been using my PS3 controller for PC games lately. It takes more effort to set up than an X-Box controller, but I've always preferred it anyway.

I also use my PS3 controller. Download Better DS3 tool. I'm sure the game uses the XI input, which is a 360 input but with DS3 tool you can make the PS3 controller act like a 360 controller. That's how I play all my PC games lol.

You can even just purchase a plain wired 360 controller as they do work for pc. This is better because the ones marketed for pc or say pc on them might be a rip off. Just know that any wired Microsoft 360 controller should work like a charm.

Edit: looks like there's some wireless receiver part I need to find and I may be in business after all.

All I can say for sure is that a normal wireless 360 controller will not work alone. However it might work with a receiver and finally any wired 360 controller should work regardless.

Came with it man. $50 for a controller is actually pretty cheap here, I think it was more like $49 it was on special. I used a gift card anyway but yeah I still stand by my purpose. It came with everything I needed to start playing including batteries if I recall. Just have to hold the button down for a second and the cpu registers it within seconds. Wireless receiver just plugs into a usb and you don't have to deal with it anymore.

I should also note the one I bought was titled Wireless 360 controller for Windows, so it did come with the received so it was PC ready. However I imagine if you already owned a 360 control you would just need the adapter to use it on your pc, or you can just plug it in with the USB but yeah Wireless is a big plus for me. If I was getting this on PC (probs PS4) then I would definitely use it.
