Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 79
Not that excited for any of these. Karasawa Kazuya's episode will be the most promising cause he is directing his own storyboard. But, he has already done two episodes for this arc. This will be his third. I hope he will be able to maintain the same quality.
Kakudou is paired with a name I don't recognize and the director is not someone I'm fond of. It'll be underwhelming stuff most likely.
Yeah, no Karasawa Yuu'ichi. I think he is gone too.

Isn't he in the list above?Jinzoningen MULE wrote:Well, RIP Karasawa I guess. It was nice knowing you.
I was holding out for a shred of hope, but this is all but confirmation that he's left.

Well, this is unexpected. I guess I was wrong about Karasawa. That's a great loss. You think they'd try their best to keep him on board. Meanwhile we have Kitano.
Disclaimer: I might get into a disagreement with you. Sometimes I might even get feisty about it. I'll never harbor negative feelings because of it though. I hope you feel the same way!Jinzoningen MULE wrote: Maybe I should start making it a point not to comment when I'm not sure of something. Too many people know what they're talking about around here.
I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 79
There are three possible scenarios.
A) Morio Hatano convinced Karasawa to join him for the upcoming Saint Seiya series.
B) Karasawa is tired of the horrible production schedule and left the series.
C) Yamamuro dislikes Karasawa due to his superior version of Yamamuro's character designs and convinced him to leave.

D) The optimistic one: Karasawa's gonna supervise the first two episodes of the battle royal, like Yashima did with 63 / 64.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 79
I'm confused as to what difference this makes regarding Karasawa and whether he has left. We knew he isn't doing next week and we know that the following episodes are downtime recruitment so it would be silly to waste him there, I wouldn't rule him out as left just yet until the staff for the actual ToP episodes are out.
A lot of people say he's one the best AD so wouldn't it be wise of Toei to save him for the ToP?, with the Battle Royal thing they're gonna need the best they can get on those episodes.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 79
i won't believe that karasawa left until the battle royal starts and he doesn't supervise an episode + these episodes won't have some actions by the looks of it so maybe that's why they won't use supervise until the real tourney starts

Karasawa is probably helping out some friends on ēlDLIVE. That's my guess. That series will be over by the end of this month. So, maybe he'll return then.

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 79
Hmm, It's going to be interesting to see how 83 and 84 turn out. Nashizawa was an animator on episode 80, so who knows how 83 will turn out and Yashima has been putting in a lot of work these past few episodes, though with his speed they could probably just give him 2 or 3 animators and it'll be fine. I hope none of the series main supervisors (for instance Ishikawa) are on one of those last 3 but just not listed. I'm guessing we'll see a TAP supervisor on 83 and Sawaki teamed up with Ono again for 85.Psykomatik wrote:Episode 82:

It's awesome to see Hiroyuki Kakudo again. Matsui Hitoyuki is new to Super, he has a pretty big history working on shows like Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto and Bleach.
My last hope is that he was doing work on that show while waiting for a storyboard for a big episode of the tournament in Super... but I'm not going to set my self up for disappointment.Saikyo no Senshi wrote:Karasawa is probably helping out some friends on ēlDLIVE. Yeah, that's pretty much where I'm at. Hopefully he can come back and blow us all away with the first important moment of the tournament.Saikyo no Senshi wrote:Karasawa is probably helping out some friends on ēlDLIVE. That's my guess. I hope you guys are right about him probably being reserved for the ToP, its a waste to not have him here just when everythings looking better and better by each passing episode.
Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0 - Episode 79
His art never was important, It was just that his episodes has the best action scenes and you can know that because the best episodes of Super so far, were supervised by him.SansrivaaL wrote:Who the hell's Karasawa and why is everyone sad that he's gone?

For you probably, art is a very important factor for me (main reason why I'm not a fan of Tate) true, animation is more important but if the art sucks then it takes away the animation even if it is good.Alee9977 wrote:His art never was important, It was just that his episodes has the best action scenes and you can know that because the best episodes of Super so far, were supervised by him.SansrivaaL wrote:Who the hell's Karasawa and why is everyone sad that he's gone?

I will wait until the battle royale to accept he is gone, maybe he comes back for important battles.
