I guess that price is better than the $300/$400 that just one single dragonbox would go for. I'll just have to continue my hunt and keep on my regret of selling these for $35 each to my local electronics store.

Yeah you can find them for pretty okay deals there or Yahoo auctions JP, I was planning to buy them too but I had to shift priorities, once I get settled into a permanent job they're definitely going on my top priority list!

Yeah you can find them for pretty okay deals there or Yahoo auctions JP, I was planning to buy them too but I had to shift priorities, once I get settled into a permanent job they're definitely going on my top priority list!

Yeah I understand what you mean. I got a high list of responsibilities too and I should have got them when I could have before because it is worth it. To me its the best viewing experience and honestly the only series I have no problem owning multiple copies of the same thing.

If you don't think that you can afford them, buy the single releases from Japan. They have the same video masters as the DBoxes, but they used lower quality audio, although it's not too much worse.

Yeah I was looking more towards the video quality if the audio isn't that much different it is ok. I wasn't aware they had that though. Like I said, the video quality should be the same as the DBoxes. Although last I checked, you can't find the second Cooler Movie by itself on Amazon US, so you may have to use a third party to order through Amazon JP for that one.

Ok I just wanted to know if it would be worth getting that version of the movies as opposed to any of the recent dragonball movie releases from Funimation. For example like the Blu-ray release are those any good or is it essentially the orange box quality film?

Funimation's movie releases aren't great, but I'd put them above the Orange Bricks and Blu-ray Season Sets.
