NOT a fan of the Sailor Scout version of the Z-Senshi, epecially since they're obviously too weak to handle the gravity. I'm guessing female version of Kakarotto (Kat), Vegeta (the one with a V belt buckle, shouting "Go Kat!"), Trunks (blonde with a sword), and either Gohan, Goten, or Radditz (long black hair in the bg). That, or Bojack's universe is an alternate future of some kind, like how Spider-man 2099 is an alternate reality to the Marvel universe, not a possible future.

Are you telling me they're the "girl-power" version of the Z fighters? Ugh, Bojack please kill them soon.Dayspring wrote:NOT a fan of the Sailor Scout version of the Z-Senshi, epecially since they're obviously too weak to handle the gravity. Well to be fair there aren't that many female fighters in the actually show. Sure you got Pan, Android 18 and...and...Hm. I want to say Videl and Chichi but they eventually they give up the life of training to become house wives. DBZ was a "No Girls Allowed!" show for boys. Or a giant muscled up yellow hair sausage fest.Bussani wrote:Not "girl power <3 <3 rainbows and flowers".Scarz wrote:Are you telling me they're the "girl-power" version of the Z fighters? GRRL Power!
...Okay I got nothing. I hope they don't just lose for no good reason though. We don't get to see many female fighters.
Exactly. I mean, it is a shounen show after all, but it seems a little one sided. When there are female fighters, they're usually somehow inferior to the male ones. Even 18, as amazing as she is being able to break a Super Saiyajin's arm, is said to be weaker than 17, her male counterpart.Scarz wrote:Well to be fair there aren't that many female fighters in the actually show.

I'm interested in knowing exactly when, in terms of the main universe, the spaceship in the first chapter arrives. Judging by Pan and Uub's clothes, and Goten's hair, it'd be a bit before GT started, say maybe 3 years after the end of Dragonball Z. This makes Pan look a little too old though, she'd only be 6 or so...then again, people say she looks older than 9 in GT anyways...
Possibly this takes place with GT never occuring, and around the same time. That would make it a different universe, wouldn't it
Or, indeed, it could be after GT, with Goku coming back for some reason to train Uub and Pan more. I'd really like this answer.
But, whatever the case is, I'm very curious. Knowing when it happens will help me to enjoy this story more.
I've just started chapter 1 today. It looks awesome. Keep up the good work.

OK then, so it's an AU from the main timeline in the anime then...good enough
I'd have just done it 4 years after GT, with Goku and Piccolo back for some reason. It works out the same, really, except you get some more possible characters.
There are only 98 pages, and I've read them all
How long until the next is done?

The author doesn't care for GT. I know he has said that at one point. I don't think GT is canon in this timeline.mister yummy wrote:OK then, so it's an AU from the main timeline in the anime then...good enough

Salagir (the author) said that GT does not take place, yet he borrows concepts from it a lot. They release two pages a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. On Christmas, they post quite a few more than usual.mister yummy wrote:OK then, so it's an AU from the main timeline in the anime then...good enough

The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.
Minus the "power," it would seem. That's why I mentioned the alternate future: I'm hoping they're descendants instead, or at least AU siblings (ie: the Trunks look-alike is actually his sister that only exists in the AU).Scarz wrote:Are you telling me they're the "girl-power" version of the Z fighters? Personally I wish they'd use AU versions of Bra, Bulma, Chichi, Lunch, Videl and Pan. To explain how they'd be strong fighters is easy: they're from AUs. Imagine a Lunch that knows insane martial arts skills instead of insane gun skills. The only completely original females I want are fusions of the above.
