It actually appeared in the Namek arc as a Stinger when Goku was going through drinks. Abridged!Goku also made a comment about it in his "Goku Is Going to Play! Five Night's at Freddys" LP, although he cared more about pizza (ironically in the place he didn't want to be in).

I just barely got mine in on time. It was tough learning the basics of how to abridge with the time limit, as I was also working on reviews, fan edits and exams but ultimatly I had a lot of fun.

I think this is a great idea. DBZA abridged has been a great tool to introduce new fans to the series. The entire DBZ saga is just too long and too many hours of investment these days.

The more "low-budget" aspect of dbza season 1 is nostalgic, but harder to sell people on with the slightly lower quality than seasons 2 onward. A few tweaks of background music, tightening up the dated jokes, and some of the editing, and boom, it's consistent with the rest of the series.

Remaking Season 1 would bring in a whole new group of fans to DBZ AND DBZA.

It's not about nostalgia. It's a testament to abridging history. Rewrite the past, you forget your beginnings, you forget your successes and mistakes, you forget what you have become.

A part of me wants to see Bardock: Father of Goku Abridged also updated, if only for fun future seeing bits with what's happening now.

But yeah, in the meantime, can't wait for Episode 54 of the series. I imagine Cell's announcement of the Cell Games and Mark "Hercule" Satan's debut are within reason for the episode in terms of content (TFS has so many name options for him).

I think it's fine, because then you could make the argument to just redo the other movies again which is just silly

Yeah but if you ask me I think their priority should be new content, not redoing the Saiyan Saga.
But in the end it's not my decision, I'd be content with a remake of season 1 but I'd prefer getting Buu first lol

I wouldn't mind them redoing the first few episodes, because no offense, it was kinda a rough start. Granted once the Saiyans came it was amazing, but those first couple episodes

Even the Saiyan part kinda needs reworking considering some of the scenes they used were...off.
