There's no way that Towa, Mira, Demigra and Broly aren't playable, the list is very likely incomplete.

I would hope Dimps would be smart enough to let us actually play as the new characters they are introducing, but there have been other stupid decisions made with this game. So I rule nothing out until confirmed. =P

The fact that Broly isn't on the list of playable characters is a huge red flag.

Also I hope the Kaioshin of Time is a secret unlockable for funzies.

If they do end up not being playable, they can make them available through special events. Seeing as how their main focus is on the online community, I can see them holding special weekend, weekly, or monthly challenges with big prizes being special accessories or even playable characters. I'd be totally down to see that.

That's no excuse for him not being playable. Broly been a secret character in so many other Dragon Ball games, but once you find him and unlock him, you can play as him.

There's no one term used by all the fans. Some call them Changelings, others (like myself) stuck to Arcosian despite it being an English Dub Error. There's also Frost Demons, Icers and Icejins. So, yeah, Arcosian has ended up as my personal preference. But Toriyama never gave them an official name, and NamBan, Dimps, Toei and everyone else connected with the DBZ franchise just never bothered to naming anything.

They don't have to end up calling it anything. They can be lazy and unimaginative and just stick to calling them "Freeza Clan" until Toriyama wakes up from his latest NekoMajin nap so people can ask him to give them a name. To which he'll probably just go run off to start another completely different project to avoid answering.

Eh? Well, it's what I was told. And regardless, it was a term used in the original English dub when King Kai was explaining the history of the Saiyans. Ultimately it doesn't matter if it was a dubbing error or the studio just pulling a name out of their collective backsides. In the end it was a term used to refer to Freeza's people and in the minds of some fans it stuck and perpetuated itself. Whether or not it's canon in the long run is irrelevant until Toriyama gives them a canon name.

All the other names, like Changeling and Icejins were pulled straight out of the fans own heads with no directive from the show or the companies involved.

...wha? I never said it was correct. Never claimed Arcosian was canon. I only ever said it's what I personally prefer to refer to them as over "Freeza Race" or "Freeza Clan". If people wanna call them Changelings, that's their business. Whether the term is wrong or not doesn't matter to me. It's not my preference. So I can't understand why you're getting irked by my choice to call them by a term that's different from someone elses. Neither is correct so I don't see how that is harmful to anyone.

What if he ends up being an alt for Teen Gohan? We already know that the character's name changes with their costume.

I don't know you, what you use, or what you choose to use for a term. My response is a general one.

That being said, you're still saying right there you prefer to use a made-up, incorrect-extrapolation over proper information that's been used in an official capacity. I keep seeing this argument that "Freeza's Race" or "Freeza's Clan" isn't descriptive enough, isn't proper-noun-enough, doesn't make sense because Freeza's not the original member of the race... well... too bad...? That's what it is, that's what's there, and boo-freakin'-hoo...?

Kinda like the people disregarding Beerus' name (and any transliteration of it, for that matter) because it didn't sound "cool enough". Well... again, too bad. It is what it is.

Misinformation is harmful. It's easy to dismiss it here because "derp stupid cartoon names!" and not something important (like, uh, vaccines I guess...?), but we're a DBZ website gosh darn it, and that's what I'm here for!

At this point, I'm admittedly bringing the topic far off course... so I will go ahead and reprimand myself for that .
