I hadn't realized that it was only $39 in Australia... that's a whole lot cheaper than most games. I'll pick it up eventually, but I've got Supanova on the 10th, plane tickets to pay for and there's a good chance I'll have to have my dog put to sleep soon, so it's not a month with a lot of spare cash floating around.

$39? Sweet!

I'm still not sure if I'll be getting it, because I'm confused about something: is the Budokai 1 version in this collection the same as the one that was released in Australia? If not, what are the differences (apart from the music/updated graphics, I know about that).
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Was this the opening you had on your Australian Budokai 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1xDxfx1pPg ?

If it was, it's the same as the PAL releases with the cutscenes censored, Japanese cast w/English subtitling and missing some footage (CHA-LA-HEAD-CHA-LA, that I can think of).

http://www.thehut.com/games/platforms/x ... 24961.html (360/PS3 available) it's like £5 cheaper than on Amazon.co.uk.

Meh, IMO, B1's HD opening with Enigmatic Soul although it's a shitty music placement I'm starting to liking it, for some reason. :?
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

Oh My Kami the nostalgia, it's weird they changed the opening cos Head Cha-la is played in the credits I hope they keep it like that. I cant wait or the memories to flood back in. Also since the pal release has the pal opening, America might get the cg Head Cha-la opening.

If you want to pick up the old B1/B2 soundtrack here's some links to buy them.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Dragon-Ball ... 2a0ca53ffb

Also my favourite track the unreleased track A Hero's Desperation.http://www.mediafire.com/?yodisj8dz3u4dc7

These were released on CD, so it's against the rules to post content that came out.

Only unreleased content may be shared/uploaded even though it's copyrighted too.

The B1/B2 & B3 official soundtracks do miss BGMs from the games itself, so it's where the unreleased stuff comes in handy.

Anywho, I haven't heard anything of the NTSC/US Budokai HD version but it probably has the "Wake the Dragon" for the Opening of B1.

Budokai 1: Wake the Dragon (DBZ OP1) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_0n0IjcQs8

And also, if I'm right, the NTSC/US will feature uncut cutscenes. Dammit, the PAL owners are getting screwed again (the advantage of the PAL version is that we get the Japanese voices for B1).

I'd take Japanese voices for the entire game over getting to see Raditz' fleshy hole for five seconds any day.

In addition to the title card music, I noticed that Yamamoto's original music plays only for a second at 07:14. It seems that his music isn't completely gone, but it's almost the same as nothing. :)

One of the older cancellers, xDarkZockerX got his hands on an early copy of the game also. The video is Goku vs Vegeta, unfortunately he hasn't played B3 for 2 years and he finds that the 360 pad is a bit clunky when trying to execute combos but he does okay nonetheless. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nGA3S8LZj4

What a confusion. BT2, BT3, RB1, UT, TTT and Yamamoto's Budokai 1 music. WTF, Namco Bandai?

I'd been a lot happier just with BT2's and nothing else on this collection or the synthesized Kikuchi tracks (from Sparking, Raging Blast or Ultimate Blast games).

Cool, liked the music placement in this battle.

I'm definitely buying this game, no doubt! Surely, IMO, the best Dragon Ball game Namco Bandai has released in a couple of years (Burst Limit was pretty awesome too).

Read the description. The music in that video is replaced by the uploader. Or is it that you know this fact and just praised the uploader's music placement..? Anyway, Burst Limit's music cannot be included in this game because it's Yamamoto's, too. Incidentally, here's the original song that inspired him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSZ6CX79p7c

I do not believe that's a Yamamoto track, at least not from Budokai 1. It sounds like it's from BT3.

I am talking about the very beginning of the track that plays for just one second. It switches to a different piece from other game after that. They're combined into one track.

Is this HD Collection not getting a japanese release at all? At least there, they could just use the Kikuchi soundtrack a la Sparking and use Dragon Soul for the opening of Budokai 3 or something.

Also, just realize how this is the first game this generation that has Super Saiyan 4 Goku...even though, it isn't actually a game from this generation. You'd figure that the main character would have all his forms but, no, not this generation lol. (Even in the portable games, he's only in Shin Budokai 2 lol)

1) Dragon Soul was from DBK and it was only used in a few games, not even Ultimate Blast had Dragon Soul as the OP song, so they'd probably use something else. Kai's pretty much dead (in US it's still somewhat alive, I think).

2) There's nothing about a new Dragon Ball game release yet on Amazon.co.jp, or YesAsia, so.. Japanese DB fans might have to import it.

Dragon Ball Z For Kinect wasn't neither released in Japan. Yeah, EoB was published in Japan but on DBZFK is in HD (thanks vejetoex).

Although, Dragon Soul has appeared in Japanese Ultimate Blast as a select-able BGM.

Is that such a bad thing? To be honest I don't care about the transformations in the Budokai-esque fighting games. Gameplay mechanics should override everything when it comes to a fighting game for it to be successful. Then again Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is considered amazing but I feel that it really needed work on its gameplay mechanics, there were a few idiots who didn't care as long as they had a massive roster but that is just stupid. If people only care about fan service we will get another game like Ultimate Tenkaichi, because we really want that don't we? Lol.
