Ultimate Tenkaichi definitely had the worst spine art of all Dragon Ball games released for the home consoles:

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

They could've just left it with a simple white background and black text, like others games have than this terribleness. Really hate it, as it stands out from the rest.

Here's an example of Ridge Racer 6:

Image
The lightning bolt on the "N" makes it looks like it says "+100,000 FAMS!"
It might be a bit weird but some people when handwriting they make the N's look like M's, and M's have like four legs which is strange even to me.

Yeah, I and people look at the games which are on the shelf(ves) and so having one standing out of the rest doesn't look quite right though if you never cared about such details it doesn't bother you.

Same goes for Classic, Platinum and whatever editions of games, the spines and covers bother me so I always get the standard edition.

I work for Namco Bandai and am announcing the next title early.

DBZ Kinect 2
That's funny I also work for them and was informed the next game was

DBZ Move

It will be the same game but for PS3 move with an exclusive never before played character Mr. Popo.
I just got word of the story, Goku meets up with his past self and fights past foes on a journey to stop the big bad.........wait.

I don't know....I have a gaming shelf and I never cared about that.

Guess there are people out there that are passionate about the little things in life.

I tend to care more about the content in the box, but as an artist bad box art can be a huge turn off. Ultimate Tenkaichi's spine may look boring, but more than anything Dragonball Kinect looks like one big Photoshop mess. dbboxkaifan has a point, but personally I think it's the last thing Namco-Bandai needs to worry about.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Well, Kinect typography is damn shit, it's almost unreadable.... Calling things by their names.
Raging Blast have best typography from a professional point of view.
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88

You know you have handled a fb campaign wrong when the discussion moves to game box spine comparisons.

They need to do what Injustice is doing: not only a great solo story mode with lots of cutscenes, but also many entertaining (animated and multi-leveled?) stages covering pretty much every kind of place shown in the story and movies, plus a hundred costumes so that all costumes ever shown on the comics (or manga in that case) are available.
Perhaps even every costume shown in every Toriyama artwork while they're at it, and perhaps even costumes shown in anime fillers while they're at it. (come on, free DLC is meant to add what you didn't have time to add before the release date)

Make this game the ultimate Dragon Ball collection (not in number of characters, but in number of stages/appearances associated with the characters that end up being in the game). Having to unlock those by playing - again similarly to Injustice RPG-like levels for example - would enhance the amount of time we're willing to spend to unlock our favorite versions.
But unlocking things is not everything, it still needs a story, certainly not "random senseless fights one after another to unlock things".

Good gameplay, good story mode, and good amount of interesting things to unlock (possibly: stages / story, artwork and filler costumes / show's BGM / manga colors / HD-remade openings and endings from the TV shows and previous games).
We don't need more that something nice to play with your friends, but also alone with an interesting story to go through and interesting unlocked things to play for).
Good gameplay, good story, good unlocking, and we're good to go. 8)

Still no news. Figures.

Funny how Burst Limit was the best, yet it only went to the Cell Saga. ......and there won't be a sequel.

They should have never made Burst Limit. I was overwhelmingly disappointed by it. I went back to Gamestop to return it before the week was over.

It's just a rehash of the original Budokai. Burst Limit's all shiny with the same story all over again, and the gameplay's kinda boring. It has no depth. Boring drama pieces. There are not much of characters to pick. I'd prefer to play Budokai 1 more than Burst Limit. Even I would pick Sagas over it any day now.

We had better get some info soon. I can only play RB2, B3, and BT3 for so long. These games have already begun to get old =/.

Burst Limit wasn't bad at all. At least it didn't have the clunky controls of Budokai 1. When not comparing them to the PS1/PS2 era of games, Burst Limit can actually make a pretty good entry title Dragon Ball game for a newbie.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

4-player combat would be pretty awesome. The most important parts are still gameplay and characters right now IMO. I would say story matters but the way I see it, if I wanna experience the story I'll just watch the anime or read the manga. If they can manage a good story mode on top of all this, great.
