So how do you think Chow's English in the film will be? I've never heard him speak it.

I'm aware of that, but these things tend to spiral out of control quicker than you think. And I keep clicking on this thread thinking there's gonna be some more news or actual discussion going on, but instead it's "meme-time" posts in a row.

You guys are silly. Say what kind of training do you think Roshi will put Goku through ? He obviously isn't gonna be doing construction or delivering milk. Hopefully the movie will show Chatwin getting stronger and show a noticeable difference in his power.

The delivering milk portion isn't too far out of the question, although I still think it's highly unlikely.

I also wonder how long the training will last. It'll probably take a week and Goku will be stronger than ever. Which wouldn't be wrong considering what story we're talking about.

I imagine it as this.

The instrumental for Romantic Ageruyo or Makafushigi is playing and it's something that Son is listening to on his iPod. He doesn't look at where he's going, since he's listening to one of those instrumentals, and he crashes his bike into Carey's car. that's what I'm thinking.

If I'm not mistaken they're trying to make this movie a tad closer to the realistic side so they might just make a Rocky IV-esque training montage.

Well, if you're worried about Chow Yun Fat's English, I'm sure there's nothing to worry about. Back about 5 years ago, he did Bulletproof Monk, and his English is pretty damn good, I'd say.

Not to go all Grammar Squad, but you don't "speak English good", you "speak English well." Or, you could say, "he's good at speaking in English".

Sorry, I just found it amusing because we're talking about the language and all. I don't mean anything disparaging by it. ^^;

Anyway, to remain OT; I hope he does, if only because from what I've read so far, Roshi's personality seems to have remained pretty intact. If we could get both those things I'd be happy.
