Vegeta doesn't go SSJ3? That's supremely disappointing

Well, given the fact that the Super Saiyan God form is temporary, Vegeta having a SSJ3 transformation would put him on par with Goku, and that's a big no-no

Ssj God isn't temporary. Goku can use it's powers while in his ssj state.

Only in his SSJ state? Not while in SSJ3? way to make that form even more useless, way to make Vegeta even more useless, damn, I imagine Vegeta gets SSJ3 eventually but why would they still have him so far behind?

The funniest scene was when Gohan gets drunk and goes completely nuts. He wears the Saiyaman costume and asks Mai to shoot him. Incidentally, one of the bullets hit Vedel's leg, and Dende notices she's pregnant while healing her.

This movie does explain why Goku's so strong in GT and why Vegeta would still be relevant as well. Still, I going crazy over multiple universe. Its like a dream come true ever since I read DB Multiverse fanmanga. I do wonder why limited the universes to a dozen in specific? Damn, I wish I knew how to speak Japanese fluently I have so many question to ask Watanabe in general about the multiple universe concept.

So, seems I kinda called it a ways back when I said it would be cool if Goku lost in the end and Uisu is stronger than Bils eh. That's somehow not surprising yet still shocking.

Overall the movie seems like it was great and I can't help but wonder this does for the future of Dragon Ball, movie sequels? New Arcs? Who knows..

Yeah. Well, the whole 12 Universes talk leaves it open for virtually anything. It's like they're preparing Dragon Ball for something new, something different... maybe a story set on an alternate universe?

Points: Videl being surprise-pregnant, Gohan is a strange drunk, ssjg summoned by pure hearts, db having 12 universes, Uisu being Birusu's martial arts teacher, ssjg loses but Birusu runs out if energy, Goku can still use it after the fact, Vegeta summoning more strength than Goku after Birusu slaps Bulma. O_O

Geez, a lot of stuff to take in, especially the stuff that expands the DB Mythos! 12 more Gods of Destruction, SSJG killing evil(er?) Saiyans, friggin' MULTIVERSES?!! I'll be very disappointed if Toriyama or Toei don't follow up on this stuff a little later, they just opened up sooo many more questions.

BTW Vegeta becoming slightly stronger, if only briefly, just confirms for me: SSJ2 > All

Also kei17, does anybody else besides Goku or Vegeta fight Birusu? Do any of the humans (Tenshinhan, Kuririn, etc.) get some good action scenes?

Though I have to ask Kei, do Pilaf and gang stay as kids or are they reverted back to their original state before the movie ends? If not I'd like to see how Kaboom tries to workout Kid Pilaf and gang problem.

Depending on how much more crazy info we get, I'll have to figure out whether GTR and Battle of Gods will be "compatible" at all, or if it'll have to go the same way as DBO's events and just have some subtle nods to it at most. So far it's looking to be a better match for the original GT than for a drastic rewrite of it.

So, Super Saiyan God... Goku doesn't really "keep" the form, but he can summon its power when he needs to? Isn't that pretty much the same thing? Kind of makes ANYTHING set after the manga seem cheap if Goku's practically unbeatable.

That said, if Billy won in the end, does that mean even the "Super Saiyan God" power didn't quite match up to him? Or did it make Goku stronger or at least a challenge for him and only fail because it ran out of time? How did the final fight actually play out?
