I just got this on VHS, I don't know why...I don't even have a VHS player at present haha. I guess it's pretty cool though, once upon a time I would have killed to have a legit DBZ vhs
Edit: I've actually bought quite a bit of DBZ stuff recently, including VizBigs 3-4-7-8-9. (Filling some gaps), I've completed my Blu-ray Seasons Collection, and my sister got me a Goku (base) POP vinyl, so now I just need Piccolo.

I picked up the Blu Ray of Season 7 today at Best Buy. Had no intentions of picking it up but impulse struck.

I finally found a Dragon Ball Xenoverse (PS4) at a store. It's pretty cool, but my fears have been realized. See, besides the fact that I don't want to do useless, random, repetitive fights against Saibaimen and whatnot just for attire, skills, abilities, etc., I don't want to do useless, random, repetitive fights against Saibaimen and whatnot just to be strong enough to continue playing the main story! I got up to Ginyu before getting obliterated. Do I really have to do all the side crap just to play the main story? I hate those kinds of games.

I dunno...I played every PQ, and I guess that counted as grinding, but I just wanted to get all the content. I didn't play 'em all over and over to grind levels. I just did everything that was available to me...my levelling went okay.

I just want to play the main story line. I don't want to play every little thing the game has because a lot of it is pretty boring for me. I just want to play the stuff with the cut scenes lol It's like if in Mortal Kombat, they started you off with Stryker and Sonia ad you had to play through the story to unlock the rest of the characters. But wait, there's more! You can't beat your third opponent because you have to go do side missions. So as Stryker, you have to do story-less fights against little demon creatures that keep respawning. That's what I compare it to.

Fair enough I suppose. I mean, I enjoyed a lot of the situations and set-ups in those, but I can see why you wouldn't want to do them.

They're gonna be in a game like this, though, the publisher doesn't want you to breeze through the story super-quick and finish the game in a lot less time than your "money's worth". Hence, grinding.

Just bought Dragon Box 1, £55.

That will leave me with 4/7 DBoxes. I'll be able to get Box 7 relatively easily but Box 2 and 4 I will never have unless they re-release them (please).

I imagine they'll be too expensive for me, feel free to send me a price by DM though and I'll let you know.

Do the Dragon Boxes work on regular UK players?

Not unless you change the region-coding on the player. Which mind you, tends to be really easy and can be done on most DVD-players, so really that shouldn't pose much of a problem.

Ahh thanks for the reply! I though it'd be cool to own at least one DBox lol Yeah I have a region free DVD player gathering dust but I would prefer if I could upscale on my PS4, the upscaler is really good on that.

I'd never tried so just did out of curiosity after seeing your message. Nope, they don't work! Real shame because I like watching TV with my razor headset which I can do on Netflix, Blu-rays etc on PS4 but with my Region 1 DVDs I have to just play them on my crappy DVD player.

Anyway, if you're in need of a DBox, let me point you in the direction of the cheapest one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Dragon-Ball-Dbo ... l+Z+Dbox+5

Try looking up your specific model of player. There's usually some combination of buttons you can press to bring up a hidden region-select menu.
