Even the good people lose their bodies. They never really touch upon what requirements are needed to keep your body. We know that Goku & company kept them because plot.

I believe in anime (not sure with manga) English Kai it said people who fight for good or heroes of the universe get to keep their body.

I doubt it. I'm pretty sure that, like the Battle of Gods trailer, it's just a dramatic stock cue.

How many pages should we be expecting per chapter? The standard ~20 page format that Jump normally uses?

No way of knowing until we know what we know!

For what it's worth, Victory Mission was consistently 15 pages for the last many months leading up to its hiatus.

Yeah, I guess that's true. I was just hoping for something kinda big, but I doubt that's gonna be the case

You know, I really hadn't thought about what material they would use in the event that there's yet another flashback to planet Vegeta's destruction. This is written by Toriyama, so Jaco's material would make sense with his new continuity, but DB- has so little to it. The only thing that actually exists for planet Vegeta's destruction are those two Bardock panels from the manga...

I actually wouldn't mind seeing Minus adapted or at least alluded to. I mean, think about it - this would be the perfect chance for Toriyama to add onto it and make it something that...well...WASN'T just this thing that's there that doesn't really have anything happen with it.

That and I'd kind of like an explanation for Freeza knowing about Super Saiyan God for absolutely no reason that I can think of.

Didn't Beerus have Freeza take care of the Saiyans? If it was after his dream about the Super Saiyan God, maybe he mentioned it to him offhand, having Freeza mention it in Minus by hearing about it. But he moves his focus to normal SSJ when nobody else but Beerus ever has any idea about it.

The only thing I care in Dragon Ball Minus and would love to see in this new movie is Gine and a couple more of Bardock. It kills me not knowing the color scheme of Gine and I would want to know whether Akira would keep the Bardock vs Freeza scene from the TV Special or coming up with something different too. As long as he maintains the magic/sadness that the moment delivers, mainly when planet Vegeta is destroyed...

No, Beerus didn't have Freeza take care of the Saiyans. He's just kinda happy someone else did the work he was planning to do (but was too lazy), for him.

Also, the Yogengyo foretold of a challenger for Beerus appearing in 39 year. There was nothing specific mentioned. Afterward, Beerus went to sleep and had his dream about the Super Saiyan God, which we see him wake up from in Battle of Gods. So there should have been no point for him to interact with Freeza.

I don't think its necessary. He knew about the ssj legend too. He wanted to keep the saiyans in check, so knowing a thing or other about their race makes sense.

Rumors from where though? The Saiyans passed around the legends of the Super Saiyan because it had been like a deity to them, and some of them like Vegeta hoped to attain that power. It makes sense that the myth could reach his ears in one manner or another. We are outright told the stories about Super Saiyan God were lost though, so how does Freeza obtain information the origin race doesn't even have?
