What music did they change? The background music? The opening?

Toonzai changed the BGM because it turned out that the composer for DBKai was a plagiarist.

Nonononono. TOEI changed the BGM. The replaced music is present on Toonzai, NickToons, the home release, and it was also on the CW.

Does anyone know how they handled the guns the cops were holding when they pulled over the androids? The last time I actually watched, they were already up to Vegeta fighting Semi-Perfect Cell.

One thing's for certain, CW may demand the edits but it's clear 4-kids was doing the actual edits when they were still around. Ever since Vortex took over, the editing seems to have gotten much better in quality.

When CW4Kids got around to broadcasting those episodes, the Yamamoto scandal had only just been announced. Because various broadcasters were airing Dragon Ball Kai at the time they had to rush through and do a temporary replacement and included in this temporary replacement were mono pieces. When they went back and re-scored the series properly, they only used stereo pieces.

FUNimation did the edits, not 4Kids. This has been stated over and over again.

Probably already brought up, but any particular reason why they gave Perfect Cell a neon green codpiece?
I find it hilarious that it is more noticeable then what they were trying to cover up.

LOL. I love that a new generation of youngsters can whine about the "Silly Editing" of DBZ!

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect!
