Can somebody tell me if those songs on the BGM select are some of the ones from the Anisong edition? Trying to figure out if the regular edition will come with different BGMs from the actual shows (while without the main themes).

Those songs are not from the Anison Edition.

What do the names above the songs say? The ones in Japanese with BGM after them...

'Battle BGM' and 'Burst Voltage BGM'. Kinda like Raging Blast 2 where you had separate music for the Raging Soul mode, I guess.

Ugh..how I wish Edward Elric, Natsu Dragneel, and Inuyasha were in this. They would be perfect and have supports that could fit in perfectly as well.

Natsu Support could be Lucy with her constellation summons. From Virgo, Cancer, and Taurus.

Inuyasha Support could have been Kagome with a arrow that stuns the enemy.

Edward Support could have been Alphonse with alchemical shield to block attacks.


Id pay good money to see Shonen Jump work out a deal to include them.

Kenshirou has many voice actors at this point. The most recent has been Konishi Katsuyuki, who plays Commander Gi'nyuu in Dragon Ball Kai. I do not believe it has ever been stated why Kamiya Akira is no longer voicing Kenshirou, but I suspect it has something to do with pay.

I've read that on Anime News Network's forums once, but I am not entirely sure as to its validity. If it is it's a Hell of a shame. It's not like Ken isn't 90% stoic most of the time. It didn't stop Kamiya from voicing a different character in the most recent cartoon series (or being recognized as the voice of Kenshirou by television media).

The more I see of Ryotsu, the more I'm convinced he's going to be awesome (and I really wish I had access to that series). And the Yusuke trailer was great fun, I loved seeing they made a move out of when he just jumps on Toguro and WAILS on him into the ground.

From what I've heard, Kamiya retired from the role years ago (likely due to how rough the screams were on his aging throat). He also retired from the role of Kogoro Mouri in Detective Conan. He's one of the most legendary voice actors in Japan, I wouldn't doubt that he can just do what roles he wants by now (especially if he's paid as well per role as I've heard).

If I recall correct, the current voice for Kenshiro is the one who played him in Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage.

I know Bobobo's voice actor played Kenshiro in New Fist of the North Star.

I'm more annoyed that Tohru Furuya isn't voicing Seiya in the game, despite using the anime designs (when I prefer Furuya's voice, but the manga designs). Nothing against Masakazu Morita...but he's no Tohru Furuya.

Still, I'm glad that so many franchises I love are getting repped in the game. Gotta team up Kenshiro and Bobobo. Hokuto Shinken and Hanage Shinken...Fist of the North Star and Fist of the Nose Hair.
