... What, you mean over the 'DaizenshuuEX' robo-logo? Yeah, I'd like to put that up, but I remember someone saying Mike doesn't want to be associated with the dub... :? Hey, it was like half a year ago. Can't remember. :P

Wow, I really should have been checking this topic. The last time I looked the dub was canceled.

By the way, my full name is Rob Harms. You can use it, it's not like anyone would be able to find me or anything, lol.

I'm still available for the FTP stuff. But seeing as I'm on a shared connection, I'll have to limit the use (or at least the major use) to sometime late at night EST. I guess it just depends on how big the files are going to be, how many people are going to be using it concurrently, and at what speeds. Any information available would help.

So Mike...

Seeing as though the 'Fan Works Explosion' has been stickied, can this one be stickied too? Sometimes it's a bit disheartening to see the thread drop to the bottom; it seems as if no one cares about it.

Yes?

... No?

(it has been going strong for about half a year)

Nah. This isn't supposed to be permanent or anything. Once the project's finished, we can let the thread die happy. Let's not push it.

René's full name is "René Jean-Claude Hintz".

And if you want: "Timo R. Schouren".

The first draft of the poster 1 is up:
Image
I've got every body's names (I think) at the bottom, and the R29 and Toei logo. The names are a mix of screen names and real names- but still looks real.

There are two versions, so here's the second one.

If you think it needs no more editing, then I guess this can be the final...

(Thanks to everyone who gave their names! )

*Drools*

Awesome, Stevey, Awesome. You said that's the draft, right? What still needs doing?

Also, a few things...
  • Mike said himself early on that he doesn't want Daizex officially associated with the project. So we probably shouldn't have a url or "Daizenhuu EX" plastered all over the posters...

Once you remove that, can I get a copy of your title and credits at the bottom for the one I'm working on? :)

Good job, Rocko. I was gonna make a note about the "Daizenshuu EX" there too.. Apparently the admins don't want this project have that name. We wouldn't want that to stay there especially when (yes when meaning it will happen) this thing goes around and gets really popular. 8) If you want my real name instead of Mr.P, you can credit me as "Rick Nazaire". Good job again, Steven.

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Very good looking poster, Steven. However, if you could add my middle initial "S." to differentiate me from the Jerry Jewell who works for FUNimation, that'd be much appreciated. And as Kaboom has said, Mike wants no association with this fandub, so it'd be best to remove any credit to Daizenshuu EX. Other than that, very good work from what I see. One last thing, maybe credit Kino as "Creative Consultant"? Since she's doing the final edit to the script.

How about "Thanks to DaizenshuuEX..." or something to that effect? were it not for here, R29 would not have tried this.

Why exactly do you want daizex to be associated with this instead of Room 29 again...?

Hey, don't look at me - I was only making a small suggestion. At the risk of sounding un-intelligent, the poster looks better with "in association with Daizex" XED

So for my poster, what'd be a good way to have Goku and Tullece's feet sort of fade out after a certain point?

Wow, the poster made me more wet than... *something wet*

I'm tired! I can't think of a pun!!

Anyway, sorry, I kind of rushed through the pages, given that there's 48 and I'm just kind of burning to make this post, but....

If you have any acting spaces left, I'm more than happy to fill in. I've been acting on the stage professionally for 8 years, and have done a few dubs (Nothing major, just for small projects with independent films for colleges, etc.).

Only thing is, I'm English. Which might cause a problem. I can play someone of stereotypical royalty I guess. I have a "neutral accent" which isn't posh, cockney, nor any form of northern lol. Also, I'm 17... Though I've performed as adults (I won an award for voicing a gruff adult when I was 16 lol, wow... arrogance, sorry lol), I still might not fit the requirements.

I'd love to take a part, play someone who perhaps sounds sophisticated, and I can do very good non-FUNistyle screaming hehe

That's all, if you're interested or need anyone, I'm happy to help with a dub.

Or, has my 2am tiredness made me completely miss the point of this thread? :P

Well, unfortunately, all the Voiceacting roles have already been filled. We made need to recruit a few extra people for random screaming pedestrians later, so hold tight and start practicing if you're interested in that.

Otherwise, our main priority (in addition to Stevey-boy and I doing promotional posters) is getting an FTP server set up. I have yet to contact one or two folks who may be able to help, but if you're any good with those...

Good luck with it though, I'll be certain to watch it :D
