The models aren't bad. I wish they would make the edges of the noses and mouths more prominent, I can barely see them outside of some shading.
And the colors... just overblown at times.

The colors are some of the best I've seen in a Dragon Ball game - those screenshots have overblown colors because everyone is in the middle of an energy attack.DarkPrince_92 wrote: Mon May 27, 2024 3:40 pm The models aren't bad. Xenoverse 2? Now that's some horrifyingly ugly lighting/color system right there. Everyone is glowing as if they're radioactive.

One thing that could help the multiple versions of characters out would be if models looked time accurate.
One thing I like is how Goku mid had the early fluffy SS HAIR while Goku end had the spiker post rosat hair style.
Goku early and Vegeta scouter for example could have their models look they did in early DB instead of just bwing costume changes.

I gotta say, the hair bangs don't look PS5 at all.
I don't think they'll fix it like it was rumored.

Are there other leakers that leak V-Jump scans early?
DBSHype just went to court for showing V-Jump scans
We might only get text leaks when the next V-Jump leaks, pour one out for DBSHype

V-Jump is released on the 21st of each month, barring a Sunday or holiday, in which case it gets moved up slightly to accommodate.
You can purchase issues of V-Jump on Amazon Japan -- they ship internationally.
Bandai Namco typically ties in their own social media posts with new game content announcements timed to the day with the release of V-Jump each month.

The wait has been a bit later than normal for this upcoming trailer. I wonder if Bamco is waiting for Summer Games Fest to release a hefty trailer, showing off modes on top of new characters.

^ I don't think there will be a CAC in Sparking Zero, it's more of a Xenoverse thing now.
So you have better hope of this happening in Xenoverse at some point.

This is what I mean. Colors are saturated, no energy attacks or effects present. Vegeta is yellow.... like really yellow. I will say, some shots look better than others for sure, but this one... is crazy.
Never made the comparison to Xenoverse, I think we can all agree this game looks waaayyy better then that glossy mess.Nickolaidas wrote: Mon May 27, 2024 4:07 pmXenoverse 2? Now that's some horrifyingly ugly lighting/color system right there. Everyone is glowing as if they're radioactive.

There's Revamp models for basically every single DBXV2 character, even new ones!
So, you decided to read my signature, eh?

The model is decent. I don't like the shading system. I used to play XV2 with the anime reshade mod, that was a great look:

Bloom can be a little high tho...
Also this guy's work, awesome:

I like Sparking Zero's overall aesthetic but I'm a visual artist and I always nitpick. I still want anime correct colors and style in an official game, but one can dream.
Regardless of the game's state I do plan to get on release. I may even start streaming...

Good Kami, I hope this is the game that finally gives us GT Goten. I'm not even necessarily a big Goten fan, but it feels unfair how underdeveloped and underutilized he is.
(also speaking of Kami, I have wanted him playable in something that isn't a card battle forever)

Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Re: "Sparking! ZERO" Official Announcement & Pre-Release Discussion Thread
Trailer was cute. I'm still not sure if base Kefla would be a character, her fusion animation looks like she transforms immediately.

Some of the shading on the characters still need major fixing, and that nose/mouth area, otherwise looks great.

Still wish we could see something in regards to game modes and mechanics... like what are we doing in this game outside of VS?
