Since when did Freeza become Rocky Balboa?FortuneSSJ wrote:That page is 100% Toriyama.
I don't like the idea of Freeza become OP by only training 4 months. I hope Toriyama takes this part serious and don't show him just doing some push-ups while this song is playing on background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btPJPFnesV4
I like the idea of Freeza training for the first time Instead asking Shenlong to make him stronger.
He's the first villain to do it. (Cell doesn't count because absorption isn't training, at least to me)
But 4 month seems few. Even if he is a mutant and envolves much quicker.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I'm seriously wondering if it's only the four months of training that allows Freeza to reach godlike power levels, or something else. Sure, Freeza might actually believe that four months of training will be enough for him to become that powerful, but what does that mean? On Namek, Vegeta believed having Dende heal a hole Kururin put through his chest was enough for him to go Super Saiyan, and we all know how accurate that belief was.
So, I don't think it's just training that gets him that powerful. I think it's training and something else, something that perhaps Freeza doesn't know about. Or at least, won't admit to anybody else that he does.

So I take some time off from this page and come back to this... The fuck is going on now....
Why the hell is Freeza in a fucking cocoon... And why is he still part machine?
Someone please fill me in, I don't know what to make of this anymore.

That's why I'm not freaking out over the potential power issue, but over the whole not-being-a-spirit-and-apparently-being-mechanical-in-hell-as-well-as-when-revived-which-happens-with-his-body-being-in-pieces-without-a-soul issue instead. His training could trigger something in his mutant genes and force a further mutation of his power and unlock a transformation too or something. Who knows, we have the manga, but as Gyt Kaliba has been saying, that isn't necessarily the whole story.

Maybe Freeza is more evil and they need him to keep his body to punish him? Whereas the random dead people don't need special punishment?dbzfan7 wrote:But we see a bunch of puff balls making their way to Enma in the manga. We'll all find out about this Hell Akira created soon enough and Freeza died as a Cyborg. You're forgetting filler isn't counting here.SSJ God Gogeta wrote:So I take some time off from this page and come back to this... The fuck is going on now....

I didn't realize it was a cocoon, and now that I know, all I can picture is Freeza emerging from it as a giant butterfly. X3

Some people will just confuse filler with canon like always and say plothole here, plothole there. They probably think the villains watching ssj3 goku vs kid buu in hell is canon too.Avenged wrote: We'll all find out about this Hell Akira created soon enough and Freeza died as a Cyborg. Now I can't see Freeza's new 'evolution' being anything but Freeza with big butterfly wings and antennas. XDChuquita wrote:I didn't realize it was a cocoon, and now that I know, all I can picture is Freeza emerging from it as a giant butterfly. X3

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I posted my thoughts on it earlier, but we know very little about the actual workings of Dragon Ball's Hell, so we don't know if it's legitimately inconsistent or not. Since those that have proven themselves good in life and worthy of it are allowed to retain their bodies in Heaven, it's possible that those that have proven to be evil enough in life are forced to keep their bodies in Hell for torture and punishment. When Piccolo told Vegeta that he wouldn't be keeping his body in the afterlife, Vegeta had spent several years on Earth, raising a family and sort of settling in. Piccolo probably knew that would muddy Enma's judgment enough that he'd just be stripped of his body to await cleansing and reincarnation in the afterlife. Freeza though had slaughtered millions (if not billions) and subjugated and conquered even more. He likely had no good deeds on his record when he went to get judged by Enma, and I could see Enma having a special place in Hell for the truly evil (similar to the levels of Hell system described in Dante's "Divine Comedy").dbzfan7 wrote:But we see a bunch of puff balls making their way to Enma in the manga. People also need to remember that stuff in the adaptation could be manga exclusive as well. According to the summaries, Pilaf is the one who summons Shenlong and Sorbet jumps out to interrupt with his wish. But we've seen images from the film of Tagoma searching for the Dragon Balls.

Didn't people not notice that it is Mecha-Frieza that is in the cocoon and not his final form self?

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Goku himself had a great power-up between Freeza (150,000,000) and Saiyan (32,000) Arcs, not to mention the whole process lasted a week if I'm not wrong. Maybe Freeza still had room to develop a further form if he pushes his body and mind to the extreme, but maybe he thought immortality was a better option than becoming like thousands of times more powerful.voltlunok wrote:In 4 months, Freeza not only catches up with Goku who has been training for what...15 years since he beat Freeza? Sorry I don't have the timeline fully down in my head but let's say 15. So in 4 months Freeza catches up with 15 years of training and surpasses him. Now if he trained for maybe a year in special conditions and Goku didn't train at all. I would believe Freeza could catch up and at least match SSJG Goku but the thing is that Goku is still training, in fact he is now training with Whis! So yeah It's really hard to imagine Freeza closing such a large power gap in such a short period of time. Prodigy or not.

He died as a cyborg. Since he was cut in half it looks like Shenron had issues wishing back which is why Freeza is brought back in his 1st form.GoldLiger wrote:Didn't people not notice that it is Mecha-Frieza that is in the cocoon and not his final form self?
