Thanks a lot. :D
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

There already is a style guide that we follow internally among the staff for things like character name spellings, and we will be fleshing that out even further for eventual inclusion and adhering to within the wiki. That's going to be one of the only things we really "crack down" on, in a sense -- that anyone who contributes to the Kanzenshuu follows our style guide for everything (which means spelling "Tullece" as such).

But that's really neither here nor there with relation to Heroes, so I'll ask that everyone brings it back around on-track :). Thanks!

This might be silly and unimportant but I'm curious. There are three Saibaiman cards, all three feature the normal green colour for Saibaiman. But there is one mission with a red one and from what I understand (I might and probably am wrong) it seems to be treated as something "special", as in, red is not a normal colour. Does the red Saibaiman anything special to him other than the colour?

About what I expected, though I wasn't sure they would actually classify the Oozaru as Goku and Gohan instead of just generic monkeys. I don't imagine there will be, but anything interesting on the rest of the image (below)? I didn't originally include it because it lacked pictures, which is the important part for most people. =P

There have been a couple of missions with just the Saibaimen, and the only thing of note is that the red one is treated as the leader of of the group, thus having higher stats. Doubtful that it means anything special, it just seems like their way of spicing things up.

In other news, new commercial today: http://bandaitv.jp/streaming/dbhgm4kokuchi_q9hg.asx Features some new animation based off of Movie 3; looks pretty cool and diverse, though this is nowhere near the full version. The Ultra Rare cards at the end of the promo spot seem to be SS3 Gogeta, Bebi Vegeta, SS3 Goku (GT) and Tullece, though Gogeta isn't very clear, so it could be someone else...

So, yeah, it's basically a slightly stronger version of a Saibaiman. He did pop up in Budokai 3 loading game as a rare occurrence. I guess it's treated as a rare stronger mutation or something.

Cool, it looks pretty sweet, I'm happy with newly animated Tullece, also the tree is near a city, I love that. I don't know what it is, but there's something cool about nature overtaking civilization.

Those saibamen are called Kyuukonman (キュウコンマン) or K. Sai in Dragon Ball Z RPGs: see this.

I guess the tree is now a stage as well, cool. And it seems they really are leaving Janemba's first form behind. Oh well.

Okay? I fail to see what relevance that has to do with the recent announcement. There already is a topic for the 3DS game.

Fair point, my mistake. Those SSJ3 forms look cool, I like what-if transformations a lot.
