Technically, he was always a Jump character, but not in Weekly Jump. OPM is published digitally on Young Jump's(seinen) website.

You can see Hiei and Ace in there. Looks like Hiei is rocking the black tanktop and pants he used against Bui and Shigure
Tim Duncan is dope and forever.

Ace, Momotaro, Killua and Hiei are playable. Edajima is support. https://scontent-b-gru.xx.fbcdn.net/hph ... 5394_n.jpg
And Kumagawa finally got a page on the official website. I wonder why it took so long.

What series are Momotaro and Edajima from? They're the only two I don't recognise, but I'm guessing one is from FoTNS and one is from Kenshin?
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Nope. From the last page:
redon wrote:New V-Jump magazine confirms more characters: Portgas D. Ace from One Piece, Hiei from Yû Yû Hakusho, Killua Zoldyck from Hunter x Hunter, and Momotaro Tsurugi and Heihachi Edajima from Sakigake!! Otokojuku.
...which is also known as "Charge! Men's Private School".

Is there anything on the new pages to indicate that this was the last roster update? I think it was on ANN I saw people speculating that it was.

The 21st of every month is when V-Jump comes out, and the latest character reveals are all leaks from that upcoming issue of V-Jump.

Goku, Vegeta, and Freeza are good choices for Dragon Ball, since Goku & Vegeta are the main characters of the franchise right now, and Freeza is the most major & iconic villain in the series.

I don't like the choices they made for One Piece. Luffy & Akainu are good, since Luffy is the main character (I feel stupid for mentioning him), and Akainu is one of the two main villains of the whole series (the other one is Blackbeard). But Ace & Hancock... Ace is Luffy's brother, and Hancock is in love with Luffy, but they are not main characters (they were only in the War Summit Saga). They should have Zoro & Sanji, who are actual main characters & members of the Straw Hat Pirates (and I like them more :P ).

Naruto, Sasuke, and Madara are also good choices, since Naruto & Sasuke are the main protagonists, and Madara is the main antagonist of the series.

Toriko & Zebra are good choices from Toriko, but they should have Starjun as well, since he is Toriko's big rival & enemy (and I like him as well).

And thank God that Arale from D. Slum made it.

I hope we will see more, but I think the roster is complete now. Hopefully, the series that I wanted to be in are in.

Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Despite being a bit bummed about Yugi not being included (I prefer him waaaaaaaaaay over Arale), I kinda wish that Kuwabara was a support character that dude's a fool XD. But I guess that cop patrol guy kinda reminds me of him anyway.

Wasent it already stated that DLC is planned for this game? If so then id say just wait abit and Yugi along with other characters that didnt make the cut will appear at some point.

No, the exact opposite was said:
J-Stars Victory VS won’t have any paid character downloadable content post-release, Namco Bandai said during a presentation at its Japan headquarters today. It appears that all planned characters will be in the game from the start.

Read more at http://gematsu.com/2013/12/j-stars-vict ... BdG8CUB.99
As I doubt Bandai Namco will do free character DLC given their effort elsewhere, unless they were lying, I think it's safe to say the roster on disc/cart is the final one.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

There are seven unindentified series, but we know that the first six are Hokuto no Ken, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Dr. Slump, Luckyman, PSI Kusuo Saiki and Haikyuu!!. And now we know that the last one is Sakigake!! Otokojuku.
"only"? That's pretty damn good for a crossover game!

I made a bad choice of words. Even though the lack of Taikobou and Yoh disappoints me a little, I have high expectations for this game, and I can't wait to put my hands on it.

Honestly, it kind of disappoints me too. I've long since made my peace with it, and this game still looks AMAZING, but honestly? I kind of wish they had used only the lead characters from each particular series. No rivals, no villains, just the lead heroes. And then done a roster of 40+ still yet, representing a much larger selection of series.

Sorry for the double post, but looks like we got a new trailer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecSz6JsdLtM

Nothing to say about it yet (still loading for me), but I'm getting excited already based on what some comments I saw on it were.

...YES! They gave Arale her swirly pink and cute poop of death! And her splitting of the Earth!

I also really love the timeline they set up this video with. A great reminder of the long history Jump has, and how many of their biggest titles I really want to see/read but haven't yet.

I'm so close to just splurging the money to import this.

I have to keep reminding myself that there's no rush to get this....there's no rush...

And the new cover looks awesome. It looks even better than the old one.

How would the Yu-Gi-Oh characters work? From what I recall from my childhood (I was a fan 10 years ago), the monsters were real only in the ambient years, and on some very special occasions.
