Yeah, I think it's sort of a given that no-one's going to come away being seriously harmed. Death, we know, is no permanent situation in the world of Dragonball.

Man, so much negativity through these last few pages. I'm still hyped for this. I'm expecting a funny, action packed DBZ movie with great characters and epic moments. If Toei and Toriyama can give us that then it's all good.

They'll change their minds once they see it.

I'm not sure why. We still have limited information on the film and really not anywhere near enough to come to any conclusion of how good the film will be.Super Saiyan Swagger wrote:Man, so much negativity through these last few pages. The lack of news has really done its best to kill my hype, but I'm still excited whenever we get something new for it and can't wait to see more.

I'm struggling to see why everyone still thinks there's been a lack of news, especially in recent times...anyway:BlackCatScott wrote:The lack of news has really done its best to kill my hype, but I'm still excited whenever we get something new for it and can't wait to see more.Super Saiyan Swagger wrote:Man, so much negativity through these last few pages. That's the first good look I've had at Goku's new boots. I was right, they look a lot better when illustrated.

They're selling the early screening tickets. Probably user-listed...?
Does「1,000セット限定」really mean there are 1000 tickets to sell?
I didn't think there were that many, though I haven't paid very much attention.

It says pre-release tickets, along with a "visual art poster" (which I think means the thing with smirking Super Saiyan Goku...?). Strange one should be selling these when you can go to a theater and buy the tickets and pick up a pamphlet for free....FatNagger69 wrote:They're selling the early screening tickets. Maybe Freeza is a bit like Voldemort. If a single part of him can survive, then he can be revived like that in Shen Long's discretion. I guess they could phrase the wish to make Freeza being restored in his prime, but they missed that. Normal people though would die right away if they were revived in pieces or without limbs, thus making Shen Long's job futile.RandomGuy96 wrote:Wouldn't he be revived as two halves, then? And why would he be revived like that, when every other resurrection fully restored the dead person's body, even if it was reduced to chunks?Kaboom wrote:Maybe I'll just assume Freeza was, for some reason, brought back in the state he was when he actually died. Which happened when he was chopped up, but before Trunks incinerated the pieces.
...Anyone else?

So they're ordinary movie tickets for the 18th? If so, how pointless.SaiyaJedi wrote:It says pre-release tickets ... Strange one should be selling these when you can go to a theater and buy the tickets and pick up a pamphlet for free....
I saw 2015/4/10 and assumed that was when a screening was,
but now that I've looked it up, the last date is April 2nd.

Did Toriyama draw that? Because it looks so much like his artstyle.

Dude, I never thought I'd hear so much negative from the fans here, but sure, I can understand it, NOTHING REAL BAD can happen in this movie, or the EoZ would be in jeopardy, and any damage can be fixed with dragon balls, even mortal damage. XD

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I actually quite rather enjoy the polarised response, which in other fanbases is usually either overwhelmingly, and rather blindly, either only one way or the other. I'm betting that even the most cynical voices here are still incredibly excited for this film and will watch it regardless. Measured expectations are always a good thing in my experience.Black_Liger wrote:Dude, I never thought I'd hear so much negative from the fans here, but sure, I can understand it, NOTHING REAL BAD can happen in this movie, or the EoZ would be in jeopardy, and any damage can be fixed with dragon balls, even mortal damage. Well, at least I'm enjoying what we've heard of this film so far.
Nice, we still need to work out whether that's Toyotaro or Toriyama.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Then you think Toriyama will... Forget the last chapter?sintzu wrote:I don't think Toriyama cares about that anymore.Black_Liger wrote:NOTHING REAL BAD can happen in this movie, or the EoZ would be in jeopardy.

Generally, I don't think even die-hard fans care for the ending.sintzu wrote:I don't think Toriyama cares about that anymore.Black_Liger wrote:NOTHING REAL BAD can happen in this movie, or the EoZ would be in jeopardy.
I wouldn't mind it being ignored in favor of something better.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Ugh, I'm tiring of all of this negativity and power level banter. But it's good to know that I'm not the only one who believes that Toriyama will deliver with an awesome movie. This manga's got me more excited, not less, and we haven't even hardly seen a solid minute of movie footage yet, so it's awfully hasty to be making judgement already.
Loving that new art of Goku and Vegeta. Veggie's looking dang fine in that black armor
Finally I can see it in its entireity. I love that design with those pleats down the sides of his pant legs and such. Those boots though; they're a lot different from those others he's usually seen wearing with his blue suit. I like it, though. Finally mixes things up a bit. BUT UNCROSS THOSE ARMS VEGETA, DANGIT XD I need to know exactly what his upper body armor looks like for art reasons.

I dunno, considering he's so adverse to using that time-period, it can't be like he's forgotten it or anything.FatNagger69 wrote:Generally, I don't think even die-hard fans care for the ending.sintzu wrote:I don't think Toriyama cares about that anymore.Black_Liger wrote:NOTHING REAL BAD can happen in this movie, or the EoZ would be in jeopardy.
