I can't see that happening, Buu has to have his incarnation. Maybe in a different way he was presented, but surely he exists in the canon.

I bet Uub is sure to appear in a sequel after this film. Uub is a toddler or something (not sure of the specifics) somewhere out there and we'll meet him when the time is right.

It was already retconned once, I see no reason why it couldn't be retconned twice with a special chapter by Toriyama/Toyotaro or included with a timeskip in the end of this or a movie in the future.

I expect this movie to not ignore GT facts, I hope it explains why Gohan transforms in SSJ in GT and why didn't Goku use Super Saiyan God against Baby (althrough I already know why)

And the fact that Gohan needs to transforms in SSJ to fight some maggots from Frieza's Army is just a turnoff... Hope Toriyama fix that at the time

Hum, Toriyama is doing everything to deviate from GT. In GT, Hell is completely different, Freeza isn't as strong as he's gonna get in the movie, Goku doesn't have Super Saiyan God, the Pilaf gang is really old, etc.

I thought you guys already know the Dragon Ball GT situation... In addition to what Doctor said, there are a few other reasons Dragon Ball GT is already desconsidered. I wonder why some of you still think "I hope Toriyama get rid of GT".

You make it sound like he actively tries to dismiss anything from the anime, funny how people will twist the man's words to fit their own opinions.

While he has the right to go his own direction I really would hope he keeps around most of the elements from GT if he ever feels like taking these movies to post EoZ.

I wouldn't mind if he kept the concept of the Shadow Dragons, they were awesome. But everything else about GT is indeed disposable. Yes, even SSJ4. Because that lead to people fan wanking over the concept of transformations like SSJ5, SSJ6, SSJ7 etc. I'm just waiting for Toriyama to come out and say that SSJ God is strongest SSJ transformation to exist so that the further SSJ transformation theories and fan wanking can finally end.

Except that isn't quite true. In interviews before the series even ran he said he liked the ideas and was looking forward to watching it, He also referred to it as a grand side story. If he was politely saying he doesn't care about it then I don't think he would give it praise by calling it grand. True he doesn't consider GT part of his timeline but he also doesn't even acknowledge the DBZ anime as part of his timeline. Least to my knowledge.

Anyways back to on topic.

I hope we get more info soon cause being this in the dark is making me scared for this movie. The little bits and pieces we've gotten have made my hype meter go up and down like a roller coaster and it's becoming exhausting! The training thing had me interested then they say 'oh yeah he only trained for 4 months' and I lost interest. However Pilaf's gang and the 'angel of hell' have me still somewhat interested but I don't know if that is enough to keep me biting at the bit for this movie...Toei...More info please!

I'm just waiting for Toriyama to come out and say that SSJ God is strongest SSJ transformation to exist so that the further SSJ transformation theories and fan wanking can finally end.

But first, we need to know if Super Saiyan God multiplier is greater than the Super Saiyan 3's. It looks like any Saiyan has access to Super Saiyan God regardless your power level. If Super Saiyan God multiplier doesn't have it, then it could theorized that the "Original Super Saiyan God" had a power level comparable to the Z Warriors in Freeza, Cell or even Buu arc (debatable, of course). And if this is true, then Super Saiyan 3 is still the strongest form a Saiyan can reach by his own.
