I believe so, I think it was in Ultimate Mission X game. But even when it comes to Dragon Ball Heroes, it doesn't seem like you can put every installment in the same bag... Ultimate Mission X is its own thing, apparently.

King Cold seems like he might not be so damn rude though... wonder if hes finally getting love since gokus and vegetas old men got some in the last few years

Didn't he offered Trunks to join his forces after he killed Frieza??? if it's really King Cold that would make a lot of sense, even though i always figured he couldn't transform beyond 2nd form for some reason, like was he supossed to be stronger than Frieza??? i don't really know if that's the case they should give him a form beyond the 5th

Doesn't Cooler use similar terms towards Gohan in Movie 5? Don't remember, but nonetheless, it's not like Cooler would know Trunks is a son of a Saiyan (until he transforms, obviously). Also, keep in mind that Fu is the one behind things now. So things may (and certainly will) play out differently.

If King Cold had a stronger form then he would have used it against Trunks instead of being so desperate as to steal his sword in an attempt to kill him by catching him of guard,its as simple as that.

Freeza created those transformations(1th/2nd/3rd) since he had issues controlling his powers(issues he solves later in rof),whatever King Cold was stronger than Freeza is debatable but we know for certain he is in the same league as him(well as far the mecha freeza arc goes).

So no,King Cold was not a weakling,his original form just bears a strong resemblance to Freeza's 2nd form,thats all there is to it.
Some fans have taken that strong resemblance literally so they built the false notion that King Cold was only in his 2nd form,this notion of course contradicts his desperation when facing Future Trunks.

King Cold didnt fight or want to because it was easier to have him and frieza job quickly to trunks for story so the others wouldnt get involved.


He wasnt desperate to steal the sword, he was cocky and thought trunks couldnt win without it, then he got surprised and by that time it was too late. Simple. Doesnt even give him a showing
