I want them to have all the movies(17) in one box.
I don't know. It seems like Funi's trying to keep DBZ and DB seperate so far. But then, they're probably also following the Japan releases, so who knows.
It specifically said 13 movies, so I assume that if they release the DB GT Dragonboxes, that is when we will see the other movies.

They never seem to advertise the Specials with anything.

Damn, 50 pages in 30 hours!

Well I dunno about that; if the trailer shown at Otakon was anything to go by, listening to Sabat's Vegeta shrieking "DRAGON BOXES!!!!" into my ear repeatedly isn't exactly my idea of audio ambrosia.

Still, at least the trailers likely won't have the "orange brick theme" music on them, so that's a plus.

But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Vegeta screaming at me to buy these and saying that the Dragon Box's power level is Over 9000 actually got me pumped up even more.

I could not stop laughing when he rehashed the "Over 9000!" thing in the trailer.

And did anyone else notice that Vegeta sounded different in the trailer than he usually does? It just sounded like Chris Sabat killing his vocal chords instead of his usual Vegeta voice.

I'm guessing that whatever trailer comes out for these outside of Otakon isn't going to have Vegeta screaming at us about "Over 9000"s and stuff.

I think Julian framed it well on twitter; it was like Sabat impersonating Lanipator impersonating Sabat.

Yeah, it just seemed more like a comical thing meant only for the announcement.

I was looking at the Dragon Box over at Kanzentai and I was wondering if FUNimation will also include the bonus features like the Japanese commericals of DBZ games, and etc? Also, we are getting what's in the Dragon Book too right? I love the way how the episode recaps are shown in summary in these books. Also, I love the disc art too on this set.

Yeah, it came off as something inspired by Abridged and I thought more of Abridged Vegeta than Sabat Vegeta.

Mike even said on his Twitter that he thought it was an official release of Abridged at first.

We don't know yet. But looking at those DVD cases leaves me wondering....they can fit more than 3 disks in there.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

EMA FTW!!
Yeah, it'll be a great help in getting my sets too, but I'd really like some extra cash. Time to get another job!

Funi will probably also include their stuff, too, like the Burger King Commercials, Toonami openings & promos, etc.

It wouldn't be out the realm of possiblity. Bandai got Toonami openings for many of their shows.

Now, I'm wondering: Will Funi release Dragon Box singles once the 7 sets are finished releasing?

No, they stopped doing singles years ago.

"It prints frickin money"

As shown by these, Funi wants every cent from us. They'll probably make DBox singles like Toei did.
