Tenkaichi games should include both...

Early SSJ Goku with Namek costume both intact and torn, Yardarath costume, band/kanjiless costume used against C19 and Battle Suit...

Late SSJ Goku (Full Power) with band/kanjiless Cell Games/Buu saga costume, Battle Suit and End of Z light blue costume


They are totally different versions of Goku... They finally noticed it in Tenkaichi 3... Now is it all cancelled?!

I think the hair can be changed just like in RB where you could choose between 6 different costumes for Goku and in one he had his early SSJ1 hair that was more compact and not entirely spiked like in FullPower mode.

Yes, but early SSJ Goku was not only the one with the torn Namek costume he had against Freezer... Early SSJ Goku is also the one against C19 and the one with the Yardrath costume...

It was perfect in Tenkaichi 3... Why did they changed it?

They should make you choose costumes and hairstyles as different choices...

From what I gather of the interview as far as gameplay goes the melee action has been dumbed down for whatever reason but going by the way they said it, I think theres a chance that we can switch it to a more advanced(or the normal) way to play. Also Spike has taken one of my ideas in mind lol where almost every Super can be used as an Ultimate and they even have Ki barrage struggles but while those are pluses I'm still iffy on this game.

This game might be quite good in the end as gameplay... But it will lack characters and small details like costumes...

They should recreate the full Tenkaichi 3 roster for this game to make it good...


As for early SSJ Goku... Also the one against Cooler, Metal Cooler and Android 13, if we count movies, is the early SSJ Goku, the Mid Goku from Tenkaichi 3...

Actually, the difference of the hair is due to the evolution of Toriyama's art style, it does not differ between Super Saiyan and FP Super Saiyan (only the color, that is lighter in the FP state).
You can see that on Vegeta, who has the two hair styles in the manga/anime and only has the regular Super Saiyan, not the Full Power state.

And we can't say that that hair isn't there, it usually is used with the Namek saga costume... and Goku was fighting Frieza with his Cell/Boo costume (they were showing a battle from the VS mode, not the Story mode).

It's partially true... But early SSJs were different somehow... They are like the calm Full Power state... Hairs are lighter and less spiked...

Vegeta has the Full Power state in the Buu's saga and he changes his hairs... They gets more like the Dai Ni Dankai (when he charges up) than the early SSJ...

They are not to be used only with the Namek saga costume... Against C19 and in movies (Cooler and Android 13) he already has the Cell saga costume but is still the early SSJ (pre training in the RoSaT)... Not to mention the Yardrath costume that must have that hairstyle...

They reached perfection in Tenkaichi 3 with this aspect... Then they screwed it like it was in Tenkaichi 2 where the early SSJ is associated to the Namek costume...

Indeed it's only a versus mode... That could be Cell Games Goku, actually... Well, the costume is wrong even in the Oozaru Vegeta fight...

I always thought these looked better. It's true BT3 got it right, for Goku only. Trunks also went through the change.

Just to note, they said manga style, so I believe they are going with the spikey more "detailed" hair than the better ones.

So they're trying to bring it closer to the manga by.....making half of it filler? (GT, Movies)

Just the fact that they manage to make that contradiction and get away with it makes me extremely disappointed (not sure if towards Spike or the fans)

I actually like the evolution of the hair in their SSJ transformations. I always thought the more power they aquired the more spiked and ferocious their hair would look. Might be only my little fan imagination but I don't dislike any form of hair at different stages of power.

And yes BT3 had it right.
What I noticed in the new gameplay videos is that the hair looks kinda green and that Broly's is again extremely green. Why can't they ever get it right?!

Because American children want GT for some reason. I would rather have many Dragonball characters than the filler GT SSJ infinity crap. It would have been more interesting with the early characters as this game is moving towards hand to hand combat... yeah.

It's been thirteen years. Dragon Ball GT is as much a mainstay in Dragon Ball as one can get. This exclusionist attitude towards a significant piece of the franchise just doesn't work anymore.

GT characters can be added, but they rank last as priority...

They must first add all the Z characters, including those like Pui Pui or Yakon... Then it's movie characters turn... And there are many never added (like some henchmen)... THEN they can focus on GT...

I don't deny that GT is a mainstay in Dragon Ball at this point. But is it more of a mainstay as DRAGON BALL?

That's my beef with it. Sure GT can stay, but so can the series it's continuing. Because, (don't forget, people) since they're going closer to the manga, it's all DRAGON BALL from start to finish....and you're already excluding nearly 16 volumes while adding....GT.

I understand that, but I find if anything gets excluded it's the original Dragonball. But I think the main problem is when BT3 had every character, then we go back to less; many fans are seeing it as a downgrade. This is a problem that seems like their may not be a fix for.
