You said Powering up IS Dragonball, as if it should be there because it is a Dragonball game. Where I am saying no it's not it is a fighting game that just happens to be about Dragonball, the main point of the game is the fighting engine.

I took from your 'It should be there' as yea you just want things releveant to Dragonball.

I'm sorry for the assumption, but things like this have been going on ALL over Gamefaqs and I am just really annoyed at the lack of knowledge said people have where they think frame advantage is a glitch.

I agree that the game should be based around the fighting, but not at the expense of taking away things that make dbz, dbz.
There was no need to talk the way you did about me or my playing style. As far as I'm aware, You don't even know who I am, let alone how I play games. What the point of having a dragonball game if it's not releveant to Dragonball.

Like i said more things will be added in later sequals, this is just trying to establish itself first.

Also i'm getting the PS3 version, but my PSN is RatchildUK not that it matters, by the looks of it you are getting the 360 version.

So, the Kaioken, Nappa, Vegeta raging after getting smacked by KKGoku, Gohan's rage bursts, Piccolo's and Goku's beef ups at the 23rd Budokai, Recoome's Super Mega Bomber, Goku's power bursts vs the Ginyu Force, Second Form Freeza, Final Form Freeza ("50% power should be enough"), Super Saiyan Goku ("Are you talking about Krillin?!"), Super Saiyan Vegeta preparing to fire the Big Bang Attack, Vegeta again for the Final Flash, Gohan for the Father-Son Kamehameha and on, and on....

were just flukes, or something?

Most of them are Transformations which are indeed in the game, and i wouldn't class an anger burst as powering up. The ultimates are no longer cutscenes to flow with the game, but the initial few second 'charge' is still there.

So after doing everything the demo has to offer, (those mega crushes look pretty damn sweet) I can say that now I'm really excited for this game

And this doesn't help either;

The drama scenes with the whole "Are you talking about Krillin" bit, so freaking good.

My fault for not being clear - I meant the characters powered-up in battle while in their transformed state, not counting the transformation as a power-up.
and i wouldn't class an anger burst as powering up.
It raises their power level and generates an aura. What else does it need to do?

And Vegeta's raging actually was a power-up, the one he did before he started beating around KKx2 Goku.

Ok, I just played the demo and you can spam kamehameha's all day, you could not do that with a power lever meter. I don't want to start this up again, but everything you said about it giveing you more to think about is wrong. you don't even have to check you power level to see if you can attack with energy attacks, you can spam them in this way more than before, and the dragon meter [is it called that?] refills by itself real fast, useing supers is way eaiser than before. Now all you have to do is wait, before you would have to fight hard to get the energy back, or knock the enemy back and power up. There's much less to think about with no power level..

You will get TC'd and combo'd, spamming is never a good Idea.

I know but people do it in all fighting games, and burst limit makes it real easy.

Which in turn makes it easier for people who know what they are doing to TC them then combo them.

Neither does this. (Grammar?) Beware, as this pretty much contains spoilers for most of the Cell Saga.

Hold on, did I miss that Broly and Bardock were confirmed characters?

Hironobu Kageyama once again reinvents the English language and makes it utterly awesome.

Why the hell would they sing in english and not even bother to make it sound coherent? Would it have hurt to have gone over the lyrics with someone fluent in english?(expecting an unnessecary backlash from other members)

Coherent or not, Kageyama could sing, "Soul penetrating mother-in-law with cause of nature giant Redwood," every single verse and I'd probably still listen and sing along.

To make it easier on you if this will be the English opening to the game, just try to imagine the song being in Japanese with more Engrish...100% more Engrish, to be exact.
