I also do like Masako's voice for Goku, but its hard to apply the same standards in another language. But even her voice at most times can be deeper and clearer while not anywhere near as throaty as Colleen's is. And included, there are so many VA women who do boy voices so much better. Colleen is just overcasted cannot deliver. Tara Strong, Veronica Taylor, Stephanie Nadonly, Tabitha St. German, Tracey Moore, Nancy Cartwright, Pamela Adlon ...etc, all FAR better doing boys voices.
Masako Obasan's voice gets deeper with each transformation. I love her she's awesome and by far the most noticeable, she does all the Sons. Don't compare her to Colleen.I think you're being really harsh on Colleen. I think her Monkey D Luffy is good. It really does bug me though how people rag on Colleen for having a higher pitch in for her voicing of kid Goku and yet at the same time praise Masako Nozawa's Son Goku's voice which is even more high pitched. It just seems like a double standard.

I'm actually looking forward to playing through the entire game once I get my hands on it. It'll be the first DragonBall game I've purchased outright from the start in years!
... I mean, I've got a somewhat special reason to do so, but y'know... ;D

So I finally got my question answered and the answer was of course expected and that being that we can't change our created character's fighting style.

I know I'm probably late, but how many attacks can you equip at once?

You can equip up to six attacks. Four Super Attacks and two Ultimate Attacks. And of course, transformations count as an Ultimate Attack.mysticboy wrote:I know I'm probably late, but how many attacks can you equip at once?

I'm kind of curious about male/females having different strengths and weaknesses. I assumed most MMORPGs had equal stats for the gender and race. They can still do all the same things, but maybe the differences might make more interesting gameplay.

It certainly does as a lot of variation to the gameplay style of your CAC. Every race and gender has their strengths and weakness. There really is not dominant race in Xenoverse. It always about trying to make the best of the strengths that your characters has while trying to hide the flaws at the same time.Karrit wrote:I'm kind of curious about male/females having different strengths and weaknesses. Awesome thing I saw on this "Costume Sets" video-- cosplay outfits/accessories can be worn by either sex regardless of what character the outfit originally came from. Videl and 18's outfits are in-tact on both sexes. The one Bulma outfit with the "it's pants on one leg, shorts on the other" is the only one that's altered so that it's pants on both legs for male avatars.
On hiatus.

Yeah, there are a couple of exceptions I think (like Chi Chi's armor bikini?), but a lot of them are treated as unisex.

So who here has the game? Reading through the PS4 forum for Xenoverse is making my brain cells die just because how stupid that place is. Gamefaqs used to be a fun place like 10 or 15 years ago. Now the place is just as bad as IMDB. I see so many people on that forum bitching about the roster and that people are stupid saying that XV is good while Raging Blast 2 is bad.

Are there any hairstyles beyond what is generally shown? It seems to have another bad plague of redundant material, especially with half the female hairstyles just copied from thr men.. Personality I want to use the hair from the Time-Kai but doubt its selectable. Is it?
Zephyr wrote:The fandom's collective fetishizing of "moments" is also ridiculous to me. No, not everyone needs a fucking "shine" moment. If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

My hype never died faster. CaC looks limited as hell, All the dub CaC voices are horrendeous, no aura or voice adjustment option, no facial feature toggle, no alternate fighting styles, Demigra's name is pronounced wrong,TFS more recent unfunny dialogue style is in....damn, whats this game worth now?SSJ God Gogeta wrote:Nope.SingleFringe&Sparks wrote:Are there any hairstyles beyond what is generally shown?
