So the full first manga adaption of the movie hasn't been released? Can we expect it tomorrow then?

I'd guess sometime tonight / tomorrow afternoon. It could be another day or two though, depending on how quickly someone gets around to scanning it.SaiyanBaller22 wrote:So the full first manga adaption of the movie hasn't been released? Can we expect it tomorrow then?

When whoever wishes his body back that's how it returns so why doesn't it make sense ? That's how it was before Trunks destroyed it.Friezacooler wrote:That image of Freeza being indon't make sense specially after whatSpoiler:lol.Spoiler:

You just made that up, who has ever been wished back in pieces? lol. No it wasn't Freeza's body parts where still attached to him as an android, before trunks turned them into ashes. Before that his body parts were floating through space after Namek. The image seems to pretty much refer to when trunks trashed him nothing should be left of Freeza.sintzu wrote:When whoever wishes his body back that's how it returns so why doesn't it make sense ? Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
When someone summarized the whole comic it was said that the panel with Freeza in pieces is the panel after he is wished back. In Bulma's blog Goku says they took those pieces and put it in one of the healing tanks.Friezacooler wrote:You just made that up, who has ever been wished back in pieces? lol. Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Yeah, he's not making it up. According to the summary, Tagoma and Sorbet are told by Shenlong that Freeza's soul can't be returned to life because his body has been scattered. So, they wish for his body to return and it shows up as the chunks Trunks cut him up into. They then gather up the pieces and put him back together using one of the medical tanks.
Not saying it makes sense, but it's what seems to be happening.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Well, I guess it's somehow possible, no matter how odd it sounds, that whilst in chunks, Freeza was not yet medically dead, and only became so when he was vaporised.
I guess Shenron therefore revived his body in the state in which it was last 'alive'?
I mean, afterall, Freeza did survive Namek blowing up whilst being sliced in half. He's clearly pretty robust and normal biological rules don't apply to him.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I wouldn't really have a problem with him somehow being so durable that he could still be alive in chunks, it's everything else.Blade wrote:Well, I guess it's somehow possible, no matter how odd it sounds, that whilst in chunks, Freeza was not yet medically dead, and only became so when he was vaporised.

I mean, afterall, Freeza did survive Namek blowing up whilst being sliced in half. He's clearly pretty robust and normal biological rules don't apply to him.
For context, early in Dragon Ball, Shenlong does revive the people who have died in their original body. Bluma does tend to preserve the characters, but we're not told if this is necessary, or just something she presumes she needs to do. Afterall, Bora was in a grave with a hole in his chest and seemed to be revived in a non-zombie, healed up condition. Later in the series, as discussed in a bit more detail below, he even revives people when their bodies no longer exist at all.
Tagoma and Sorbet wish to revive Freeza. Shenlong tells them he can't, because Freeza's body is "scattered". But when Shenlong revives those killed by Cell after the Cell Games and those killed by Vegeta at the 25th Tenka'ichi Budokai, he doesn't say that task is impossible because the people at the stadium were vaporized to atom dust or return the people Cell absorbed to life in a half goopy state from after he started to drain them of their "bio-extract" but before they actually croak.
Leading on from that, those people's bodies seemed to be irrelevant to their revival, as the case should be for Freeza as well (most likely). Unless Toriyama gives us an actual explanation (which he could), Freeza should be a spirit cloud since we're told normal people and bad guys like Cell don't get to keep their bodies when they die. Yet we see Freeza with his, in his mechanical incarnation, in the cocoon though (with his head in a single piece). So, he apparently has a body in Hell. This version of him, whatever it actually is since his real body is said to be scattered, even disappears when the wish is made for Tagoma and Sorbet to obtain his body.
So as of right now, with the information we have, I'm not really understanding why:
A.) What we see of Freeza's body in Hell apparently isn't considered his body, and revived where he is (like Goku on Kaio's planet).
or
B.) Freeza isn't just a spirit cloud, and when Tagoma and Sorbet wish to revive him, he just returns to where he died on Earth (like everyone restored by Shenlong after the Saiyan Arc).
That's my general problem. Hence my discussion on the topic. I understand we probably don't have the full story yet, and Julian could even shed some more light on things in the very near future now that he has the magazine, but this is a topic meant for discussion on the movie and I can only discuss the information that is made available. I don't mind if Toriyama makes changes to stuff that's been pre-established, I'd just like an explanation for them. Which, while we could get one, we currently don't.

I dunno, Toriyama's logic in the matter has been ad-hoc at best over the years, so if anything, he's being consistant about being inconsistant!TheDevilsCorpse wrote:I wouldn't really have a problem with him somehow being so durable that he could still be alive in chunks, it's everything else.Blade wrote:Well, I guess it's somehow possible, no matter how odd it sounds, that whilst in chunks, Freeza was not yet medically dead, and only became so when he was vaporised.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Day 57 blog doesn't have any new information, just Freeza talking about how he's gonna revive and get his revenge and all that. But I must say that even when they don't give us new info, these countdown blogs are fun to read. I can just hear the voice actors in my head (Ryuusei Nakao's chuckle *shiver*). And hey, I guess this day 57 entry marks the first time Bulma gets to see Freeza! She even makes the vague threat of "if you lay a hand on me, Vegeta won't take it lying down!"
I'm kinda hoping the movie has some interaction between them, since she complained about missing him twice.
Now I want to find that shot of Vegeta looking shocked and cap it "You wa SHOCK!"
Holy shit, that's awesome. Picturing Vegeta singing such badass songs like Ai o Torimodose and Pegasus Fantasy just makes my dayChuquita wrote: Also; wandering CDJapan and found this (link is to Amazon because they have audio samples) : http://www.amazon.com/Horikawa-Ryo-No-A ... B00P22G230
Apparently Horikawa put out a mini-album last November of him covering anime theme songs.

I can't wait to see this in action. Definitely want some good action and nice character moments. Hopefully, Vegeta will finally get his shot at dealing with Freeza on his own terms.
Well, Ryo Horikawa was Andromeda Shun in Saint Seiya (and according to Wikipedia, Young Kenshiro in Fist of the North Star). It shouldn't be that surprising what he chose, lol.sailorspazz wrote:Holy shit, that's awesome. Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Bulma's warning Freeza about getting his head cut off apparently.
I predict Goten and Trunks to be attacked and possibly killed by Freeza who mistakes them for Goku and future Trunks or concludes that they are descendants of Goku and Trunks. Freeza then defeats Goku and it's all up to Vegeta. Vegeta will come close to defeating Freeza, but a twist happens and maybe Freeza travels to another universe.
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
That's a good advice seeing as Vegeta has a history of that :dbgtFO wrote: Bulma's warning Freeza about getting his head cut off apparently.
