Yet another valiant(Albeit ignorant..)review.

I wish people weren't so ignorant...
It was pretty hard to keep watching when they said that FUNimation "painted black bars over the top and bottom of the episodes" to make it widescreen. Ugh.

I didn't find it that ignorant but I did keep bursting out laughing when they speculated over something, I totally agree with their opinion though, it's great!

Just got my hands on it not too long ago, and it certainly lives up to expectations, definitely planning on getting the remaining six.

However, I tried playing the DVD on Media Player Classic, but it always freezes and is unable to be played. I'm not sure what the problem is, or if it happens to anyone else (I'm not tech-savvy by any means). All I want to do was see if I could take a screenshot.

EDIT - Nvm, with a little research I was able to find out how to configure MPC to play it.

Argghh!! I ordered wrong item, DBOX Vol. 1. When I saw a post regarding a price drop, I thought it was for Vol. 2. Since I already have one, I want to return my item back to RightStuf. My item had been ordered via credit card. can I have my money back? Advice?

The price drop IS for Volume 2.
Once upon a time everything was lovely. But that was before I had to deal with people.

Not for $35.00. And I just asked a question. Will I get my money back to my credit card if I returned my item back to RightStuf?

Just got the DBox in today. The picture is crisp, the audio is good (For what a mid-80's show can do :P ) the menus are perfect, the DBook just blows me away. Never in a million years did I ever think that Funimation would give us the fuckin' Dragonbox! Giving us the a fullscreen release of all 291 episodes of DBZ is enough, they gave us a perfect release with a book detailing the right names, terms, episode titles, and attacks, and no Funimation influence, what-so-ever (except for their own dub, of course) And at $35-$40 a pop to boot! 8)

I definitely plan on buying the other 6, and selling my Orange bricks.
Next quest: Start collecting Dragon Ball Super Blu-Rays whenever season sets get released. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

My brother told me that saw the first DBox at Best Buy for a mere $20. He somehow ended up getting Advent Children Complete for $10 more... Anyways, he says he asked someone there and they said it was priced correctly, but their site still says $70.

I'm not sure if it was just a super error for the store he went to, or if there was some sale or something; someone else should go check their nearest Best Buy just to make sure! I would, but the closest one is 70+ miles away. :D This is why I take my brother's word for it, eheh.

(I have no idea why he got ACC over the Dragon Box. I should smack his Dad for it though, because he said he wanted to see it over DBZ. They watched it and his Dad said it was a stupid movie... well yeah old man, you need to play the game to get it -_-)

EDIT! I slipped and said Best Buy... it was actually Fry's Electronics that my brother saw the $20 Dragon Box at!
Can't you see? He's the man. Let me hear you applaud. He's more than a man! He's a shiny golden god!

I don't see a Dragon Box listing in Netflix at all.
Well that sucks. I assumed they would have had it by now.

It's funny in the way that it says "triple feature" and there's three trains on the cover. X3

Now I'm imagining Brolli and Goku battling ontop of a moving train.

$20 is an AMAZING price. That's why I love Fry's. Can you ask if it was on sale or just an everyday price?
