Dragon Soul music videos - one official, one not
Geez, has it really been 3 months since I last signed in? Wow. Anyway, while looking through YouTube, I ran into a couple things while searching for "Dragon Soul" related musical stuff.
The first is the "Dragon Soul" official music video -- Basically, it's Japan's answer to Stan Bush's "The Touch" music video, but instead of Chromakey-ing footage from the show, they just have Tanimoto Takayoshi and his guitarist in an outer space setting. I'm not sure if this had already been discussed here on this forum, but it was the first time I found this video - even though it had been out for almost a year now. Was there ever an official music video that *did* use Kai footage?
The second is a random find... a Japanese nursery school / kindergarten is having a committee meeting for their upcoming kindergarten graduation, and during this meeting, the teachers play an interesting version of "Dragon Soul" to say the least, complete with bells, flute, and a bass drum. It's neat to see the little youngsters try to sing along with the song... and some of them just going "la la la la" after "Dokkan dokkan"....
I hope you'll find these a little amusing....

Oh man, that second video is adorable. I loved when they raised their hands for the "Genki Dama" parts.
I think I'll be buying assorted Dragon Ball things for the rest of my life.

Wow.. that official music video is possibly one of the lamest things I've ever seen.

The first one was pretty cheezy, the second one I enjoyed however.

That's really cool, it's great to see a new generation of kids into DragonBall. I can see a lot of them doing the Kamehameha and when they all put their hands in the air for the Genki-Dama was priceless. I loved that video.

Actions have reactions so don't be quick to judge, you may not know the hardships that people don't speak of.

The official music video looks perfect for the age group of the kids who were singing in the second video. It looks like a "music video" I would've seen on like Nick or CN back in the day.
For someone my age who has seen almost every music video under the sun back when MTV actually showed videos, though, it looks a bit generic and half-hearted as if it were filmed in a couple of hours at the most.
It's really cool for the children, though!

The first is so bad. I don't feel like watching the 2nd anymore.
