Video Game Box/Cover Art

Post by VegettoEX » Mon Jan 03, 2005 5:16 pm

This is an all-attention request for anyone with any amount and type of DBZ video games.

I want the cover scans for them all.

The best help will be international versions of games (like all the PAL variations). I have a good bunch, but I could certainly use better scans. If you have any video game and a scanner, please do me a favor and scan the cover! European and Japanese versions are a must-have for me. Non-Budokai American games can also be of use.

In fact, if you've got video games and a scanner, list for me which game you have and which country it's from. I'll let you know which ones I want.

It would also be helpful if you knew how to properly scan, and do so at a high resolution.

I may be of some help; I have a very good scanner, and a little practise using it too XD; All of the games I own are the North American versions, none of them "Greatest Hits" edition.

Deus: Taiketsu (USA) and Budokai (1, GC, USA) would be most appreciated.

Nice big scans. Preferably saved in PNG at 200+ dpi (I do all mine at 400). Thankies ^^;;.

Done and done. Both scanned at 300 dpi, now...how exactly do I get them to you? ^_^; The images are too large to host on photobucket. (both over 2 MB a peice, and photobucket only allows 250 kb per picture).

I could redo it with another image format if needed

(Hope image can be seen?)

I think I'm set on all three PAL Budokai games. The AUS versions of LoG2 and SSW would be great, though :).

I have a "healthy" amount of American releases, but I know most people here probably own them as well.

So instead I'll do one that I think is helpful...Super Butoden 2:

In addition to that I should have boxes (American) for Supersonic Warriors, Legacy of Goku 2, Ultimate Battle 22, Budokai 1 GCN, and Budokai 2 GCN. But those are all fairly common so I think you'll find them quite easy to obtain.

I have the european Legacy of Goku 2 and Legendary Super Warriors, as well as the first famicom DBZ game (cart only) and Dragonball Advance Adventure.

No scanner, though, but would a digital camera do the job?

Why do the PAL game cases always look better?

I can do Ultimate Battle 22 (Japanese) and Super Butoden 2. They're not mine, but I do have scans of the covers of Dragon Ball Densetsu and Final Bout (Japanese) on my computer.

Oh, I also have Dragon Power (US) on the NES. No box, just the cart.

Just to make things clear, I need actual booklet scans. Not just the carts/CDs. I could use, from the latest batch of people:

- Ultimate Battle 22 (Japanese)
- DragonBall Densetsu
- Final Bout (Japanese; only if it's not "The Best"... I own that release)

I have the Japanese version of Buyuu Retsuden (Mega Drive) and the Japanese version of the first Game Boy game (forgot the name). Do you want those as well?

EDIT:
I also have the European version of Budokai 2, but perhaps thats an easy one to find

Both of those will do!

I'm fine on all three major versions (US/NTSC, JP/NTSC, EU/PAL) of all three Budokai games for PS2.
