Buu Saga Confirmed for Dragonball Kai?

I was checking out a 2011 Calender for Dragon Ball Kai at CDJapan, when i stumbled upon this.

Wait... what closing theme are you referring to? There's only been two for Kai. The first only showed a collection of characters from the Saiya-jin/Freeza arcs, and the current one shows portraits of all the mains in the current arc. What Kai ending has shown anything from the Buu arc?

Almost all current merchandise is branded as Kai, so I wouldn't take that as a confirmation.

This. The series' main goal (other than milking the franchise even more) is to be a more Manga faithful anime adaptation. Leaving out the final Arc of the manga would sort of defeat the purpose.

I just mean it's been 72 Episodes of Dragon Ball Kai, and were still on the Imperfect Cell saga, How is Toei going to fit the Buu Saga in the series when the series is only 100 Episodes? Or so i've heard.

Dragon Ball Kai is going to be around 150 episodes. The Artificial Human Arc ends at Episode 98 and the Majin Buu Arc will begin at Episode 99.

Well I was worried there for a moment.

I didn't know how well it was doing over in Japan, I thought I had read somewhere on here that the series hasn't been doing well as of late.

I'm just playing it safe, considering what we've heard from Mitsuya. I'd prefer more proof than just a calendar before I go about screaming it from the rooftops, so to speak.

Not to say there isn't a good chance, of course.

Anyway, I'd be very surprised if Kai doesn't make it to the end of Z. I'm not sure if the money's there for what I'm about to propose, but I still think doing a brand new from-scratch theatrical movie under the Kai moniker while the series is still running on TV would give Kai's franchise a boost.
