Sex, Lies & The Nimbus Cloud...

I was thinking about what they ment by being "pure" to ride the nimbus.
After Gohan is born Goku don't use the cloud anymore, does that mean he can't because he was no longer "pure"? Gohan eventually rides it and so does Goten, Even if the nimbus is shown with Goku he's never riding it like at the end of Z when Uub was able to ride it, Goku rode along side it.

I know most of you are thinking that in Episode 1 Goku was looking for Gohan with the nimbus, yea your right, but that whole situation was never in the manga.

He even rides the cloud on the way to fight Nappa and Vegeta after being brought back to life. I think they just stopped using it because flying on their own is so much faster.

I don't think getting laid has anything to do with the nimbus cloud, after all I kinda doubt Roshi was a virgin when Karen gave it to him in the first place. Purity is more like a state of mind.

All the people we've seen riding on Nimbus beside Goku and his two boys were Chi Chi, the mermaid, Good Lunch, and Upa. Like Mattias said, they can fly faster than the nimbus can go at that time. Though Chi Chi (in the anime anyways) could have asked Goku to borrow it rather than complaining about the car.

Doubtful Chichi always wanted a normal life,riding to the stores on a cloud most likely did not settle well with her.

He kept using it up until he went to Namek. There's no proof he completely stopped using it afterward, nor that he continued. Purity in this case isn't the same as virginity.

But this is marital sex after all, so I don't see why it should hurt his "purity". Though like others have been saying, I would have to agree that it's more about him being a good-minded person than anything else, and that obviously never changed.

1 of 2 things happened. Either Chi-Chi offered to cook him the biggest feast he'd ever seen if he did exactly as she said. Or she drugged him/bashed him with a frying pan, and did everything herself. XD
