Spotting the DBZ Arcade Games In The Wild
Spotting the DBZ Arcade Games In The Wild
Has anyone here ever encountered one of the DBZ Arcade Games in the wild outside of Japan?

I'm surprise that the DBZ arcade games still exist. The last one that I saw was back in 2002 at some Ice Skating ring where they had the first DBZ game for the arcade. I remember it being fun at the time and wish that I play it longer.

I vaguely remember spotting one back during DBZ's peak popularity in the US, but that's about it.

That must be the old arcade game made by Banpresto many years ago. I had an arcade rom of that for the PC and I still couldn't figure out how to pull off the special moves and such.

Hey next time you go there you should take some pics of it. I have never personally seen a DBZ arcade game.

When I was in Hong Kong over 4 years ago, there were plenty of arcades that carried Super DBZ. I remember Super DBZ even had special memory cards for your custom character upgrades. And I just kept having my ass kicked. I don't know if it's just me but it felt awkward having to play this game with an arcade stick when you've grown accustomed to the PS2 controller from the start. So much adjusting to get used to playing Super DBZ in the arcades.

Maybe it's not exactly what you'd call an arcade game, but those card-based battle games are literally everywhere in Japan. Same with Pokemon Battrio.

But this is Super DBZ I'm talkin' about here! It's an arcade game with the addition of gamesave card for customized fighters.

What I meant was Carddass games like Dragon Ball Heroes and Dragon Battlers.

Really cool that you actually found one. Some pics would've been really nice, pretty please.
