Good work for a non-proffesional. If I can suggest, you can polish the line from the folding in photoshop a little, it's not that hard. You can simply do it by clone stamp tool and the typo takes a little clash with the art. Mostly on the edges of the spine. The Dragon Ball Z logo should be more to the left from the spine and the blu-ray logo smaller and to the right, to be in the middle between the spine and the DBZ logo on the front. Also on the spine, there are the Japanese characters clashing with the ''Level 1.1'' as it is almost unreadable, if I can suggest have the opacity set on more %. Try 75-80%.

It's a nice cover although it looks identical to one of the Japanese DBZ Dragonbox singles :)

That would be great! thanks!

Think I'm done with the first cover (though Goku could still use some touch up)

This is fantastic! Really nice job :) The only thing I don't love about it would have to be the Kai-esque artwork above the synopsis. Aside from that, I hope you keep doing these, because I may use them! :P

Agreed! I would love to use these :) Are these also the right size for a Blu-Ray cover? just print it out and you're good to go just slip it in?
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Now that's freakin' neat! If I get into the Blu-Rays, I'd totally want to do this.

There's a free program that scales them to fit Blu ray covers. But they are proportioned for Blu ray cases. I used the program UnderCoverXP to print them out.

I think it's a good cover but I've never personally been a fan of the bright yellow colour scheme for Dragonball Z. Same thing goes for orange too.

Wouldn't this go better in the Fan-Created Works board?

It's good, but I think I like the official cover better.

That's cool. I might consider doing that myself when I start doing custom Blu-ray discs for the Dragon Box episodes.

The last thing look a way better, but I have some typographic thing on it again and I don't want to torment you as you already printed it.

That looks pretty good much better than the original but if I had these Blu-rays I'd just keep the original cover instead, I'm not one to replace the official cover for a fan-made.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

It's nice, yet it would've been better if the artwork had not been vertically squashed I guess.

The quality of some stuff it's awful. But the idea it's good. The screenshots are scans, it looks horrible, you should use screenshots from the internet or done by yourself easily and put them on the cover. The background of the back of Vegeta, Raditz and Nappa don't fit with the cover, these are old illustrations and all the others are new images.
Here you can found renders of the characters in HQ:

The logo would be better. Here you can found HQ images of the logos along the series:

Also, some texts from the back are from a scan. You should write them with whatever program do you use. The texts will look A LOT better than the scan's texts.
Do you want NEW GENERATION DRAGON BALL (Z, GT..) IMAGES? In HQ? Of all characters? Click here: http://daizex.fanboyreview.net/viewtopic.php?t=17178

I found this awkward:

Image

Not only it's not true but misleading too, some people may think FUNimation has re-dubbed Z the same way they did with Kai, wish they'd have.

The screenshots on the cover look like they're from a low quality source.

Still, it's a great cover better than the original. :P

Anywho, since the Dragon Boxes are OoP so FUNi could make a DVD release of the DBZ Level sets, there's the orange bricks but they've got horrible quality.
