Voltron and other counterparts as English DB cast?
I started watching Go-Lion yesterday and noticed that it had a few DB cast members in it, though I always knew Ms. Nozawa was Japanese Pidge. (Using Voltron names because I know them more and to keep simpler). She also did Witch Hagar and Ryusei Nakao was Sven and Sven's brother Sven. (They were two separate characters in Go-Lion). Because of that I started thinking, while I do like Funimation's cast, do any of you guys think the Voltron actors who played the above characters or counterparts of other series could've done ok as DB characters? Myself, while I don't know about BJ Ward playing Goku, I can kinda see Neil Ross as him, as the man is very versatile. Same with Michael Bell for Frieza.

They're both roughly the same quality: with 5 actors playing every role, including badly voicing women & children. Not serious.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

Boy, I could tell stories. I was responsible for the German (re)dub of Voltron. I did most of the casting, wrote the scripts, did direct episodes 41 - 52 and played Sven/Shirogane.
Neil Ross, Lennie Weinrib, Michael Bell, B.J. War, Jack Angel and of course Peter Cullen! They're all great voice actors but the Voltron "dub"? Man, I don't think anyone could stand it without nostalgic feelings for it.
Anyway, unfortunately I did saw the original Golion much later when we were almost done with the Lion Force dub. Too bad, because I would have adapt some more original lines for our dub. Now we only got some tribute lines here and there (for example, calling Zarkons own RoBeast "Daibazaal").
