I'd prefer recommendations to be either complete or being regularly updated. Nothing that's been abandoned for a long time.
As for my own recommendation, I totally recommend Honor Trip. It's about Cell becoming good such as in Mr. Cell, but a million times better. The writer is very intelligent and well-versed in the English language and it really shows in his writing. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4746383/1/Honor_Trip
