Holy crap! I thought this game was going to suck at first when I looked it up online (especially since Dragon Ball Z 2: Super Battle was kind of a bad game) but it looks pretty fun!

Anyway, the game is notable for introducing a brand-new villain. Does anyone know anything about the backstory Majin Ozotto?

I'm kind of curious about him since he's an original character to one of the arcade games where he serves as the final boss.

Also, lol at Goku's ending and the "wish" he gets granted! I'm kind of curious what Vegeta's wish would be in this game but he doesn't seem to have an ending... (And would Trunks wish back Future Gohan? The other characters are less likely to have interesting wishes than Trunks and Vegeta)

Might make for a good podcast episode. All we know is that he works for Babidi, but that's kinda obvious given the Majin symbol.

Any chance someone could make YT vids of playthroughs of each character? I'm really curious what Vegeta's ending is, maybe I'll play the game myself at some point esp. since I've been on a big emulation kick recently.

Um...what? What Majin symbol? I highly doubt he works for Babidi; his game was released before Babidi even appeared in the manga.

I remembered what Vegeta's was so I did a quick search and found an answer.

Goku wishes for lots of food.

Gohan wishes for Chi Chi to forget about making him study for awhile, and he goes out to play with Hire Dragon.

Vegeta wishes to have "the world beneath his feet", and ends up a giant standing on the Earth (this is taking from the manga title page for when Cell announces the Cell Games, which has Cell in an identical shot).

Piccolo wishes to fight the strongest guy in the world, and gets sent up against Mister Satan.

Forgot the rest.

Trunks wishes for his father to be alive, in his timeline.

Also Ozotto actually doesn't have Babidi's M. I'm pretty sure he is just Oolong anyway.

Wait, no Majin symbol? I just assumed that given the name...

Huh... well, he is a shapeshifter... it is pretty odd though, he seems to be the only Majin character with no symbol advertising his loyalty. However, if he was trying to hide his Majin affiliation, I think he'd do better with a different name....

Also, the Trunks ending sound fairly moving, nice to know future Vegeta's still alive in at least one continuity.

His body structure kinda reminds me Wrex from Mass Effect, minus the prominent hump.

"Majin" isn't really exclusive to Babidi since as far as I know "majin" pretty much means "demon being" so it's a term that's not even exclusive to DB let alone Babidi.

True, but did this game come out after the concept of Majin had been introduced in the manga? If it didn't then it's possible Toriyama lifted the name from the game? (not sure when the exact date is for the first reference to "Majin Buu" or Majin possession)

I already said the game was released before Babidi showed up; it was around the end of the Saiyaman portion. There are rumors Toriyama designed Ozotto, so it's possible he had the idea of Majin Buu at the start of the arc and decided to just go with another Majin as well when asked to design the game's enemy...

I don't think he has any real story behind him. He is just some video game villain that they created as a boss and that's it. The game has no story, so he has no feats and we can't power scale him to other characters.

Is there a Japanese DB wiki? They might have some more in-depth info on this character.

If they don't then it's likely buried in old interviews in some Japanese gaming magazines from the 90's.

I think there is nothing on this character, only that he's the super boss in this and only game and can transform into anyone. BTW. Majin doesn't mean like Majin from Babidi's M (which I think stands for Madoshi rather than Majin), as it actually means something like ''magical being'' or ''demon being'', Japanese isn't up my alley.

Different kanji, but "Majin" was used back in DB Movie 2.
