No, they suffer, as well as the guys from a constant urge to always do some sort of pose for cameras, especially the "V" sign. They're just really in love with doing that there.PsyLiam wrote:Do Japanese girls suffer some form of genetic defect that makes it impossible for them to be photographed without doing some sort of bizaire hand gesture?

Which is truly ironic considering it was Churchill who made the pose famous for `victory`

I read Bush got off of a plane once in Britian doing that exact pose. Then someone should inform the girl in the 6th photo that she's swearing at everyone in the UK.
Who invented "naughty" hand gestures anyway? Some bored fratboys with no life?

Daiichi: But of course. *snicker*
Daiini: Omae-kun, daikirai yo. *glare*
EDIT: *fixes a possibly fatal error* And there's a comment I wanna make, but I'm too scared of witch hunters.
The peace sign is swearing in UK? All I know about that is the pinky in germany means swearing. Its all werid to me.PsyLiam wrote:Then someone should inform the girl in the 6th photo that she's swearing at everyone in the UK.

Not if you've got your desktop at any resolution size above "pussy".Zackarotto wrote:Isn't that image a little wide, though?
And I know it won't do any good, but people really don't say "bloody" anymore. Well, occasionally, but more often than not a more direct "fucking" is used. Stupid JMS.
And "smegging" isn't even a real swear word. It was made up by the Red Dwarf writers. Except that it does actually mean something not overly...nice.
The "bollocks" and "pants" thing is accurate, though.
The two finger thing apparently comes from several centuries ago, when archers were still found on the battlefield. When enemy archers were captures, they chopped their fingers off to prevent them from using their bows and arrows. Apparently armies would show those two fingers to the other, basically saying "Look, we still have our fingers, we can still shoot you, you are so fucking dead!". Or something. It's quite possibly all made up, but that's the story. And I'm sure Churchill also used this gesture to Hitler. The S wrote:Who invented "naughty" hand gestures anyway? The middle finger thing I always took to mean "Up yours", or "swivel on this", and it was graphically illustrating said action.
I've no idea where the "peace" sign came from.
