Dragon Ball Z Gaming Poster Collection

Post by TheGameTagerZ » Sat Jul 26, 2014 10:09 pm

I've been collecting a lot of B2 sized Japanese posters and I came across a lot of Dragon Ball Z ones. Ranging from Budokai 1 to Raging Blast :)

Here's some of the ones I own:

Man how long did it take for you to get all these posters and did you go to Japan or bought them from sites? My favorite posters are the Dragon Ball Z V2 posters but that Dragon Ball Z Budokai poster with Goku is just so iconic

A mix of ebay, having a friend grab some from Japan and random websites.

I wonder why they included PSP in the copyright line for BT3.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Those DBZ2 (Budokai 2) are awesome!
I love that Buu one if it weren't with that scouter merch.
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel

Right I agree the scouter part was pretty random. My favorite has to be when Vegito and the rest are grouped together but the Budokai 1 poster has that classic feel to it.

This was one of my first B2 posters

The Japanese box cover for the first Sparking game was awesome. The US got a boring mediocre cover instead. I remember the days when Japan got better box art and now both countries get the same boxart.

Yeah, I like all the artworks from Budokai 1 to 2 and that poster is the same art that is on cover of the game.
That game looks really great when you toss it out of the shelf. I have the feeling with art since Budokai Tenkaichi 2, like you are going to play Pokémon.

The best part of this is that the one I wanted to comment on first changed three times before I actually got to commenting. So on my last count Budokai 2's space cover is still best.

Disagree heartily on this one. Realizing the Sparking games all have character-crowd shots takes a lot of wind from the sails, even if they use different background characters. They would probably be a lot more interesting in tandem, or even cutting and rearranging the characters into one image. Wow, that actually sounds like a cool photo edit project.

Just like Dragon Ball since Chapter #4.
