We will ever get another MM0?

In anticipation of Xenoverse, the revelation of it's CAC option, and the content used from DBO, I wanted to know if we would ever get another MMO based in the Dragon Universe. Will Xenoverse be as close as we get? I know the DBZ gaming fan base is pretty sporadic, but for those of you who had a chance to play DBO, did you like it? I for one loved the game, if only because it allowed me to go on an adventure with character I made based in the DB universe. Sure the game was very flawed, but given the proper attention and in th hnds of a good developer, say SOE for example, I think there could be damn good MMO made based on the franchise.

So does anyone thing there is a chance they'll take another stab at it? Or we will just be stuck with fighting games for the rest of our days?

I do miss DBO now that it's shut down. I never got to level 30 become older and attain flight and Super Saiyan. Missions got hard around level 25 so I just left it alone for a while, now it's too late. Overall I thought it was pretty cool even though I wasn't fully aware of what I was doing (language barrier).

I hope this isn't the end for it though. I've seen rumors and websites about a revamp of DBO, DBO Revelations (Link below). I don't know how legit this is and I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Other than that, I would love another MMO. I love DBZ fighters but they get tired sometimes and I would need another Dragon Ball fix.

If I had to guess, Xenoverse is probably the closest you're going to get officially, at least for the time being. Personally? I'm okay with that. I played DBO a lot more than I wanted to for the sake of research (Fighter lv64 and a Poko around lv55), and I never really enjoyed any of it. MMOs just aren't my thing...actually, I'm not really a fan of any game that basically requires teamwork to make any real progress, because you traditionally are forced into a stall if you don't have a party.

That doesn't mean I'd be against an RPG in the same type of vein though. I'd be all for a them bringing something like the Legacy of Goku series to consoles as an action RPG like Sagas (or just do Sagas right). Though a more traditional approach like a 3D Attack of the Saiyans would be venturing out of my preferences.

I'm pretty in tune with DBOR and I appreciate them working hard to bring the game back, but I would like to see well respected development company take on the task. I also would be good with n RPG as well, heck, I would be ecstatic if they made of 2014 version of Legendary Super Warriors; that was on of the best turned based/card games I ever played.

But my dream game would definitely be a Action style MMO like DC Universe Online base on the Dragon Universe.

Devil's Corpse, I feel what you're saying about not being able to advance without a party in an MMO, that is frustrating. But DC Universe online is a game that you can advance very far while soloing, and I think if a DB MMO was made in that same style, it would be amazing. But I love online gaming, DBO was tough because it wasn't in English and I found it difficult to play with others due to language barriers and lack of players in general and in my time zone.

I am interested to see how that city is going to work is going to work in Xenoverse though.

I'm also with Devil'sCorpse on this one. MMO's that force you to find a random teammate, that refuse to get lost after the mission is done, aren't fun to me. If I can't do it alone, I want no part of it. I'm a lone wolf.
