Would 17 joining a WMAT be off character?

Would 17 joining a WMAT be off character?

GT aside, 17 is pretty much immortal right? Would it be within his character to actually join a future WMAT? He just seems like a very lax guy but he also seems to want to go do fun stuff if he's bored.

Theoretically, would 17 joining a future WMAT, be off character? Or rather, unlike him?
