German "Rock the Dragon"

Post by Timo » Fri Jan 27, 2006 3:25 pm

No, it's not official. ;)

Me and some of my friends made a german version of the song (for a german fandub of the first Ocean episode).
I noticed that many people here have nostalgic feelings about the song. So, I thought I'd offer it to you.

Sounds fine. The voices are a little grundgy compared to the original but this isn't supposed to be top notch anyway. I would like to see the fotage with the music so I can compare the idea as a whole a little easier but that's up to you.

Rock the Dragon in German.
Well... That's definitely something I've never heard before.

Hmm...

It was... interesting...

Well, the quality of the sound file was good.

Whoah.

Question: Did you guys actually compose the song with any equipment yourself? Sounds pretty much like the original. Only difference; you guys said 'Zed!'

And another question.
Does the original version say 'Komm' kaempf' mit!'? I'm pretty sure it did....at least

Actually, the original version says "Come get me!"

I believe that's right.

No. We took parts from the original ending theme (composed by Shuki Levy) and re-build the opening.^^ Sound effects, voices and the mixing is new.
I'll try to upload the video footage but I don't know whether I still have it.

I think it was a nice try. Of course the mixing isn't so perfect like the original. But I think it has the same spirit.

Ha ha, I like the fight noises you and your friends make in there.

Really like the German version of Rock the Dragon you guys made - it's professional and seems official sounding to my ears.

BTW, Timo, regarding your Head-Cha-La site requests, I found a 128 kbps of the third Chinese (Cantonese) remix of Cha-La Head-Cha-La the other day, which is in good quality if you want it.

I'll send it to you online if you're interested.

EDIT: Got your PM. Sure.

That's good. I liked how you guys delivered the "ya!" at the very end.
