I’d much rather have Gohan in the final 3 over Vegeta.

Well, if they turn out to be the final 3:

Dyspo vs Android 17
Toppo vs Vegeta (2nd fiddle battle)
Jiren vs Goku (above god of destruction tier battle)

Vegeta needs to survive episode 122, if so then Gohan will be eliminated next.

I think vegeta will survive. Jiren will most likely give him the treatment beerus gave ragegeta, but without eliminating vegeta.

Got to Admit I did not expect that level of Promotion for 17, Honestly putting him with the 2 big names in Dragon Ball with no one else around is usually a pretty big deal, so I think their might be something this!

If not it still is a Very Cool Thing to see, that fact that Toei seems to be more and more getting behind 17 as one one of their major players, I would enjoy this just for that alone if I where you Lapislettuce!

As for if this means anything for him being of the Final 3 of U7, I like to believe but I don't want to get ahead of myself. While promotions can show who is important to certain degrees, it is not always correct. I thought all the push and promotion of Brianne/Ribrianne gave her a good chance of being in the Final 10, but I was wrong on that one sadly.

I still think Toei is serious about Brianne/Ribrianne in their own unique way, we will see by the end of this arc and the next arc, But Clear Toei and the Writers seem more and more, especially after the Events of Episode 121, seem allot more serious about 17 and giving him a bigger push, so we will have to wait and see.

Time will tell, it be good to see it happen for 17, having someone new in the top Brass of the Finals.

My guess is that android had protagonism due to being the year 2017. So, next episode, in 2018, he is eliminated. I still don't see android 18 having this much love, she has been kicking asses in the ToP though.

1.) Goku ~ Because Goku.

2.) Gohan ~ I think this arc has allot to do about his Comeback!

3.) Android #17 ~ The Push seems to be Real and he is the Best Written in U7 right now!

I'd be utterly shocked if this was the final 3. I'm almost certain that either Freeza or Gohan are making it, probably both to be honest.

Nothing against Vegeta or 17, it would just be really random to me to have those two be there at the end like that, especially considering the hype around Freeza and Gohan in this arc. I guess it would be a nice little twist, but I'm not sure I'd like it to be honest. Partially because I'm kinda getting sick of the Goku and Vegeta team ups at this point. A Goku and Gohan or Goku and Freeza or hell Gohan and Freeza team up sounds way more unique than having ANOTHER Goku Vegeta thing.

As usual thank you for your encouraging reply, and yes i agree the way Ribrianne was promoted along with Kale it seemed that they would have lasted longer than they did but there's still the manga which i assume you're excited about, i bet they will give U2 more background to it, i also would like to know if Vikale used to be a villain of U2, her design fits.

The year has nothing to do with it. if that were the case 17 would have already been eliminated, i'm sure one of the most hyped character of the arc isn't getting one shotted by a pride trooper anytime soon. even 18 went down with a bang so i assume that even if 17 gets eliminated it will be with honor.
