Majin Boo ultimate defeat was in age 774 right? Then 2 years later (776), Tarble come to Earth? And then in Age 779 we know about the God Of Destruction Beerus and now SUPER is set in Age 780? 4 years before EoZ (784)?

If that scene is pre-RoF, he could be trying to control the SS transformation and God at the same time, but still can't. Then he punches the ground in disappointment. It's one of many possible contexts, but it's clear to me that he isn't actually fighting anyone, so he doesn't have a reason to use SSGSS.

On the other hand, Videl's design looks closer to RoF than BoG to me, the bangs in particular. And is Vegeta wearing his RoF outfit at the end?

True. For example, the Buu saga is enjoyable, but even when you don't think too deeply about the shit some characters did, the saga's still dumb, and it'll be the dumbest saga of Dragon Ball history.
