2006 DBZ CD Sets (Warning: Large Images)

Post by VegettoEX » Thu Mar 02, 2006 5:20 pm

Yo.

Got all my CDs yesterday. Figured I'd share what they look like for those who either haven't gotten their shipment yet, or just didn't order them. Sorry for the somewhat grainy pictures; had to turn the flash off, or I got too much of a glare reflecting off the cases.

DRAGONBALL Z - LEGEND OF DRAGONWORLD
( 2 CDs; 34 tracks; COCX-33567, COCX-33568 )

A somewhat traditional jewel case for a 2 CD set. It's double the width of a normal jewel case, and has a good weight to it. There's a CD on either side when you open it up, and enough room for the booklet to fit on top of the lowered second disc.

DRAGONBALL Z BGM COLLECTION
( 3 CDs; 60 tracks; COCX-33564, COCX-33565, COCX-33566 )

Definitely a different type of packaging for DBZ CDs. The one slipcase contains three slim jewel cases inside, along with the booklet.

To my dismay, the back "cover" with the tracklisting is just one of those spine sleeves that doesn't stay on the disc; it's just a piece of paper. Blargh.

Here are the individual discs covers... very sexy renditions of famous images.

And there you have it.

What did you think of both sets? (Or you could save it for the next podcast.)

Yes, yes! I want to know your thoughts on the BGM Collection, VegettoEX!!
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

Thanks Mike, I am very pleased with the results of both CDs. I am going to buy the Best Song Collection(vocal), because I love to listen to the DBZ music endings. I also love to listen to Hironobu Kageyama and Ammy rock out with Marugoto. I can't wait to hear what your thoughts are on both CDs. I thank you again VegettoEX, hope you have a blast listening to all the tracks.
