Reason for unreleased Kikuchi tracks

Does anyone know the main reason why so many of Kikuchi's tracks have never been released publicly?

I think the main reason could be what was speculated in the 30th anniversary retrospective. Nihon Columbia put out a collection of pretty much every single Takanori Arisaw music cue from another Toei Anime in Sailor Moon. But the collection sold so poorly, that the record company has been reluctant to digitize all 400+ Kikuchi cues from Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z.
