Does anyone wish the "red" form of SSG never existed?

For example in the Beerus movie Goku should have went straight to the blue-haired Super Saiyan God, and then red form should have never existed. The red hair always looked very strange especially with the eyes and since it doesn't seem like Goku will ever use the red-hair God form anymore it was a complete waste. As we see Vegeta skipped that form too to go straight to the blue hair.

Anyone else think the red hair was a mistake?

Nope, because I thought the former was pretty cool.

Red is Goku with God Ki.
Blue is Goku using God Ki to go SSJ.

I like that system.

It was pretty underwhelming over all, I'm not disappointed that we're not likely to see it again.

Heh-heh, the magenta-haired red-irised ssjg mode's my favorite; of course I'd never want it to not have existed. ^^
I was really sad when it got replaced by blueper saiyan. Like really sad; I left this forum for 2 whole days over it getting replaced before I got over it and came back.

Every form is someone's favorite after all.

No. If anything, Goku never should have absorbed its power. Goku's ki should have started draining after going SS and him tapping into it a second time in the film should have hinted that he could have overcame the time limit and learned to use it at will.

No, the red along with it's transformation was a nice change of pace. The blue is what bugged me.

Kinda disagree with you here. I like super and Bog and Rof but I'm just not a huge fan of the Super Saiyan God thing. I put up with it is all.

My only fault with SSG is that it is called "Super Saiyan God". Saiyan God would have been fine with me and then of course the Blue would be Super Saiyan God, and I definitely agree with the others that it should have had more exposure.

Hey Chuquita, what would be your opinion if Goku kept his magenta colored ki and hair instead of super saiyan blue? (With super saiyan Hair, not normal hair) And Vegeta had the blue coloring? Would you have taken the news of the form better?

Not me. It is my favorite Super Saiyan form (on par with the original). What should have happened is that SSGSS should have been Super Saiyan God 2 and Goku can turn into it after turning into a SSG first, not him somehow having the power in base form and only channeling it trough Super Saiyan. But RoF really screwed everything over...

I like to imagine ssg as the equivalent of false super saiyan from the Lord Slug movie. It's temporary, only appears once, and is more visually similar to Goku's base form suggesting to me at least that it is incomplete compared to the "true" transformation being SSB.

To be honest, I don't care what color his hair is. I just wished we spent more time with one form before it became obsolete. I wish there was just one color form, and baddies either came at mortal levels or god levels.

No. While the transformation may have been a bit underwhelming in some degree due to its design, at the same time, I really appreciate the transformation for its simplicity. Plus, the red aura of the form is really cool.

All it really comes down to is if you prefer pink or blue.

I happen to like pink and blue, so I'm gonna say "no".

When it comes to pure color discussion, I usually prefer Red way more than Blue for hair color, but overall SSG details (oversized puppy-kawaii eyes, smaller muscules than base form) make me like the look less than SSB.

Both are way worse than SSJ4 design though and I won't cry at all if they get replaced with another new form down the line, hopefully more unique and simply better designed this time.
