I want to say I posted both of these at one point in time in an older, similar thread...but regardless, here we go again. :P

Oddly enough, even though he's nowhere near a favorite character of mine (though I'm enjoying him more in the modern material), there's actually two songs that I would do a Vegeta AMV for if I were so inclined.

Electrasy - Cosmic Castaway

The lyrics to this song just seem like they'd lend themselves really easily to imagery of Vegeta giving in to rage (again and again and again and...), his drive/passion for pursuing more power, and his distaste for losing and resolve to never lose to anyone again. Oh, and being the last Saiyan (that's worth anything in his mind anyway) in the big, wide space of...er, outer space...fits right there with the 'Cosmic Castaway' title/recurring lyric too.

Disturbed - Divide

Okay, okay, I know - Disturbed songs in particular are pretty played out in regards to DBZ. But just listen to these lyrics while thinking about Vegeta's Android arc refusal to be considered part of the 'team', for example, and his own ego stroking, self serving, nature especially at that point in the story. I'm actually kind of surprised that nobody has done an AMV for him with this song, instead of just re-using the same songs that were already used in the dubs of Z movies. And speaking of AMV's...

Three Days Grace - Never Too Late

I've come to associate this song with Yamcha to some degree, partially due to a great AMV tribute to him I saw a few years back (that I no longer seem able to find, ack). That's cheating a little bit I suppose, but it just really resonated with me in regards to the character, in regards to how long and how hard he struggled to hang on in 'relevancy' (much as I hate to use that word), and the things he came up against. It showed it in a particularly tragic light too.

Those are the three that come to mind right away. I'll actually have to think a bit more to try and come up with something for other characters (like, say, I dunno, a character I like a ton more, whoever that might be). Especially trying not to think of any more that come from AMV's (even if I can't find said AMV's anymore).

I imagine it would be more majestic like "Pomp and Circumstance" or "Also Sprach Zarathustra".

Son Gohan: Vivi's Theme
This piece has such a...quaint, warmth to it. I can totally see Gohan bumbling around Alexandria!

Mister Satan: Steiner's Theme
Steiner is Mister Satan if Mister Satan would act on his good nature more often. Then again, maybe Umigame is really Steiner?

Son Gokuu: Zidane's Theme
Maybe it's too upbeat for Gokuu? At the same time, I can feel it...

Kaiou of the North: Cid's Theme
Yeah, this sort of grandness and gravitas fits ol' Kaiou of the North well!

Majin Buu: Quina's Theme
If you didn't see this coming you need to go play Final Fantasy IX!

Piccolo: Freya's Theme
Honestly, this fits Tenshinhan, too, but the sort of bittersweet sorrow to Freya's theme really works for the more serious characters.

Freeza: Kuja's Theme
Two magnificent bastards for the price of one! This piece is just upbeat enough that it can fit with the sort of maniacal energy Freeza exhibits when angered.

Muten Roushi: Theme of Tantalus
Yeah, this sort of sleazy and shady tune fits the dirty old bastard well!

Videl: Eiko's Theme
Tsun-tsun!

Vegeta: Salamander's Theme
The lone wolf, never baring his true fangs. Thoughts left unsaid...that's what I think of when Salamander's theme plays and I think Vegeta is very much like that on occasion.
