He's one of my favorite arc antagonists. I think some of his potential was squandered amidst his evil counterpart dominating the rest of the narrative. He was the best "Goku mirror" if I were to simplify an extensive subject. It's a shame that part of his characterization has either dropped or isn't considered interesting enough to explore significantly. Then again, Oob was meant to continue his legacy.
